  1. I like how you have Liverpool, Rochester, Oswego, then...SUNY New Paltz. The other 3 are all north-western NY (in the part that goes near the Great Lakes) and New Paltz is by me, only about an hour and a half north of NYC.
  2. On what browser? Works fine on IE and Chrome.
  3. Garage and Apartment were said in the GTA Online gameplay video. Insured vehicle was told to people who got exclusive interviews with Rockstar ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>)
  4. WARNING: The following spoiler contains reasons why the spoilers aren't even needed. (I'm explaining each achievement and why it isn't anything new)
  5. "In this open-world action game, players assume the role of three criminals whose storylines intersect within the fictional city of Los Santos. Players can switch between each character to follow his storyline, completing missions which often include criminal activities (e.g., stealing cars, executing heists, assassinating targets). Players use pistols, machine guns, sniper rifles, and explosives to kill various enemies (e.g., rival gang members); players also have the ability to shoot non-adversary civilians, though this may negatively affect players' progress as a penalty system triggers a broad police search. Blood-splatter effects occur frequently, and the game contains rare depictions of dismemberment. In one sequence, players are directed to use various instruments and means to extract information from a character; the sequence is intense and prolonged, and it involves some player interaction (i.e., responding to on-screen prompts). The game includes depictions of sexual material/activity: implied fellatio and masturbation; various sex acts that the player's character procures from a prostitute—while no nudity is depicted in these sequences, various sexual moaning sounds can be heard. Nudity is present, however, primarily in two settings: a topless lap dance in a strip club and a location that includes male cult members with exposed genitalia in a non-sexual context. Within the game, TV programs and radio ads contain instances of mature humor: myriad sex jokes; depictions of raw sewage and feces on a worker's body; a brief instance of necrophilia (no nudity is depicted). Some sequences within the larger game allow players to use narcotics (e.g., smoking from a bong, lighting a marijuana joint); cocaine use is also depicted. Players' character can, at various times, consume alcohol and drive while under the influence. The words “f**k,” “c*nt,” and “n**ger” can be heard in the dialogue." I marked in red what caught my eye the most. Most other things were available in other GTA games (drinking and driving, sex with prostitutes but with no nudity, killing people). Also, I wanted to note that it says "triggers a broad police search." Is it referring to the normal wanted level system or will there a new system? I know the police will be smarter and more realistic, but can crimes be reported by people therefore making you wanted after the fact, or is it the same where a cop has to see it happen? 6. GTA Online comes free with every purchase of GTA V and will be available on October 1st. There is no online pass required to play. It is also going to be 99999999999 times better than the multiplayer in GTA IV.
  7. These guys actually got an exclusive look at GTA Online:
  8. GTA Online is only 16 players
  9. It could be because of a modified paths.img file
  10. In order to install the drivers, the monitor has to be plugged into the graphics card you are installing drivers for. If you have it plugged into the integrated graphics, the driver installer doesn't detect the graphics card because it isn't what the computer is currently using. If the screen stays black when you plug the monitor into the graphics card, then it's most likely a graphics card problem. It could also be the PCIe port on the motherboard that's the problem. Also, when you switch from using integrated graphics to the graphics card, make sure you turn off the computer first.
  11. Here's a link to that blog
  12. At the end of the GTA V gameplay trailer, they called it GTA Online as well.
  13. Sounds like a graphics card problem then...The screen should still show up regardless if the drivers are installed or not.
  14. Did you plug the wire into the correct video port? Intel HD Graphics is usually integrated on the CPU and has it's own VGA (or DVI or HDMI; whatever it may be) port. Usually if you plug the wire into the graphics card without any drivers, the screen will just be in a bad resolution (1024x768 or 800x600) until you install the drivers or Windows finds and installs the drivers itself. There is an on-board driver just so you can see the screen until the correct drivers are installed.
  15. Type dxdiag in the start menu search bar and open it. In the display tab, is the name of the card correct and what does it say under Drivers?
  16. Did you try using Geforce Experience?
  17. What card do you have?
  18. I had an...interesting run in with the AI today. I pull up to the intersection and a truck decides to drive right into another car. The truck backs up and the car continues on. When the truck starting to drive again....well...
  19. "whether low end or high end" I don't want to completely lower my graphics on my high end computer when all I have to do is download one script and keep running on the highest settings, thanks. (run on sentence ftw)
  20. I don't understand why people are STILL so worried...look at Harper's post. Every main GTA came out on PC 7 or 8 months after the original release. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. I don't think a PC version was EVER announced before the release of the console game (could be wrong though). Why would this time be any different? Piracy was around when the others came out, mods were around when the others came out, new consoles were even coming out soon after San Andreas was released. GTA V is in the same exact situation. So, please, people who still don't think GTA V is coming to PC, answer me: what is different this time?
  21. The 18 Wheels of Steel games are old and outdated, I want one with the updated engine.
  22. I love this game. I hope they make an American one with these (or better) graphics and physics.
  23. If you want the video embedded in your post, use this code: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFOhHTqIhjw Anyways, nice video!
  24. 1) I highly doubt GTA V will be on next-gen consoles. 2) The community team (Harper and cp702) isn't being negative, they are being sensible. Rockstar will announce a PC edition before anybody else officially knows about it. Plus that link leads to a "Page not available" - reliable source, eh? 3) GTA V will most likely come to PC. Every main GTA has come to PC - always after the original release - so why wouldn't this one? Honestly, everybody trying to pressure Rockstar into releasing on PC is what's going to cause another shitty PC port like GTA IV. If you just wait and stop complaining, maybe Rockstar will actually make a better port this time around, but if you rush them it will be exactly the same as IV. I think I covered all the points in this topic. Edit: Nope, one more. 4) 3.6 million (3,600,000) copies of GTA IV were sold on day one. A hell of a lot more were sold after that; by August 2008, over 10 million copies were sold. 140,000 (.14 million) isn't that big of a difference. Plus, according to Take Two, sales on the PC version of IV were considerably less.
  25. I'm using version 326.41 and it works fine...I have a 660Ti Overclocked Edition... It's probably best to have it looked at professionally (since there's no way you could downgrade drivers without being able to see the screen) to see if someone can determine the problem before buying any more new equipment.
