When you force duty, make sure you start LCPDFR first with Alt-P. Then you press CTRL-P.

This looks like the error that happens either when the script is trying to use something that no longer exists (which shouldn't happen due to the amount of checks Abraxas has put in place to prevent that causing the script from crashing) or it's just because the game is overloading with things to do. After playing for a while, especially with a lot of scripts, GTA because more and more unstable due to the amount of things the scripts are asking it to do. Abraxas, however, would have more knowledge on what really is the cause. For future reference, the >vdH Police Helper topic would be a better place to post instead of making a new topic. This way Abraxas will see the problem and will be able to assist you (well, when he gets back from vacation). Also, your question may have already been answered in that topic.

Most likely because the script can't load either the vehicle model or the character model associated with it. Could you post what's in your vdh_errors.log and ScriptHookDotNet.log files?

For people who don't want it: did you play Mafia 2? Plus, I don't see this confirmed anywhere by anyone even remotely reliable.

Obviously everyone in this topic didn't see the part where the video game made the gun appear within reach of the child and the video game made the parents allow the kid to play it in the first place. Obviously the game's fault.

Also, I wanted to note that it says "triggers a broad police search." Is it referring to the normal wanted level system or will there a new system? I know the police will be smarter and more realistic, but can crimes be reported by people therefore making you wanted after the fact, or is it the same where a cop has to see it happen? GTA Online comes free with every purchase of GTA V and will be available on October 1st. There is no online pass required to play. It is also going to be 99999999999 times better than the multiplayer in GTA IV.

In order to install the drivers, the monitor has to be plugged into the graphics card you are installing drivers for. If you have it plugged into the integrated graphics, the driver installer doesn't detect the graphics card because it isn't what the computer is currently using. If the screen stays black when you plug the monitor into the graphics card, then it's most likely a graphics card problem. It could also be the PCIe port on the motherboard that's the problem. Also, when you switch from using integrated graphics to the graphics card, make sure you turn off the computer first.

Sounds like a graphics card problem then...The screen should still show up regardless if the drivers are installed or not.

Did you plug the wire into the correct video port? Intel HD Graphics is usually integrated on the CPU and has it's own VGA (or DVI or HDMI; whatever it may be) port. Usually if you plug the wire into the graphics card without any drivers, the screen will just be in a bad resolution (1024x768 or 800x600) until you install the drivers or Windows finds and installs the drivers itself. There is an on-board driver just so you can see the screen until the correct drivers are installed.
