  1. When you force duty, make sure you start LCPDFR first with Alt-P. Then you press CTRL-P.
  2. This looks like the error that happens either when the script is trying to use something that no longer exists (which shouldn't happen due to the amount of checks Abraxas has put in place to prevent that causing the script from crashing) or it's just because the game is overloading with things to do. After playing for a while, especially with a lot of scripts, GTA because more and more unstable due to the amount of things the scripts are asking it to do. Abraxas, however, would have more knowledge on what really is the cause. For future reference, the >vdH Police Helper topic would be a better place to post instead of making a new topic. This way Abraxas will see the problem and will be able to assist you (well, when he gets back from vacation). Also, your question may have already been answered in that topic.
  3. Most likely because the script can't load either the vehicle model or the character model associated with it. Could you post what's in your vdh_errors.log and ScriptHookDotNet.log files?
  4. For people who don't want it: did you play Mafia 2? Plus, I don't see this confirmed anywhere by anyone even remotely reliable.
  5. I've suggested this to Abraxas
  6. Obviously everyone in this topic didn't see the part where the video game made the gun appear within reach of the child and the video game made the parents allow the kid to play it in the first place. Obviously the game's fault.
  7. I feel pretty free....I'm not a slave or in a concentration camp. The problem with the constitution is that it is controlled by the government. They interpret it. Honestly, we're lucky they didn't just rip it up and say, "Fuck all of you, this is a dictatorship now."
  8. It's only one voice though...Will every female cop have the same voice or are there others that were not leaked?
  9. Neither are all of us...
  10. Damn...Rockstar had the video taken down before I could see it. "No longer available due to a copyright claim by Rockstar Games"
  11. I like how you have Liverpool, Rochester, Oswego, then...SUNY New Paltz. The other 3 are all north-western NY (in the part that goes near the Great Lakes) and New Paltz is by me, only about an hour and a half north of NYC.
  12. On what browser? Works fine on IE and Chrome.
  13. Garage and Apartment were said in the GTA Online gameplay video. Insured vehicle was told to people who got exclusive interviews with Rockstar ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>)
  14. WARNING: The following spoiler contains reasons why the spoilers aren't even needed. (I'm explaining each achievement and why it isn't anything new)
  15. "In this open-world action game, players assume the role of three criminals whose storylines intersect within the fictional city of Los Santos. Players can switch between each character to follow his storyline, completing missions which often include criminal activities (e.g., stealing cars, executing heists, assassinating targets). Players use pistols, machine guns, sniper rifles, and explosives to kill various enemies (e.g., rival gang members); players also have the ability to shoot non-adversary civilians, though this may negatively affect players' progress as a penalty system triggers a broad police search. Blood-splatter effects occur frequently, and the game contains rare depictions of dismemberment. In one sequence, players are directed to use various instruments and means to extract information from a character; the sequence is intense and prolonged, and it involves some player interaction (i.e., responding to on-screen prompts). The game includes depictions of sexual material/activity: implied fellatio and masturbation; various sex acts that the player's character procures from a prostitute—while no nudity is depicted in these sequences, various sexual moaning sounds can be heard. Nudity is present, however, primarily in two settings: a topless lap dance in a strip club and a location that includes male cult members with exposed genitalia in a non-sexual context. Within the game, TV programs and radio ads contain instances of mature humor: myriad sex jokes; depictions of raw sewage and feces on a worker's body; a brief instance of necrophilia (no nudity is depicted). Some sequences within the larger game allow players to use narcotics (e.g., smoking from a bong, lighting a marijuana joint); cocaine use is also depicted. Players' character can, at various times, consume alcohol and drive while under the influence. The words “f**k,” “c*nt,” and “n**ger” can be heard in the dialogue." I marked in red what caught my eye the most. Most other things were available in other GTA games (drinking and driving, sex with prostitutes but with no nudity, killing people). Also, I wanted to note that it says "triggers a broad police search." Is it referring to the normal wanted level system or will there a new system? I know the police will be smarter and more realistic, but can crimes be reported by people therefore making you wanted after the fact, or is it the same where a cop has to see it happen? 16. GTA Online comes free with every purchase of GTA V and will be available on October 1st. There is no online pass required to play. It is also going to be 99999999999 times better than the multiplayer in GTA IV.
  17. These guys actually got an exclusive look at GTA Online:
  18. GTA Online is only 16 players
  19. It could be because of a modified paths.img file
  20. In order to install the drivers, the monitor has to be plugged into the graphics card you are installing drivers for. If you have it plugged into the integrated graphics, the driver installer doesn't detect the graphics card because it isn't what the computer is currently using. If the screen stays black when you plug the monitor into the graphics card, then it's most likely a graphics card problem. It could also be the PCIe port on the motherboard that's the problem. Also, when you switch from using integrated graphics to the graphics card, make sure you turn off the computer first.
  21. Here's a link to that blog
  22. At the end of the GTA V gameplay trailer, they called it GTA Online as well.
  23. Sounds like a graphics card problem then...The screen should still show up regardless if the drivers are installed or not.
  24. Did you plug the wire into the correct video port? Intel HD Graphics is usually integrated on the CPU and has it's own VGA (or DVI or HDMI; whatever it may be) port. Usually if you plug the wire into the graphics card without any drivers, the screen will just be in a bad resolution (1024x768 or 800x600) until you install the drivers or Windows finds and installs the drivers itself. There is an on-board driver just so you can see the screen until the correct drivers are installed.
