  1. That error shows up whenever the game crashes, it isn't causing the crash. Try installing the cars one at a time to find out which is causing issues.
  2. Reinstall LCPDFR using the manual installation.
  3. Just wanted to update this topic to comment about this. After looking up the name in the computer, you can cancel the traffic stop by pressing shift, then stop traffic by pressing M (by default). Then you can conduct your felony stop. I literally just found that out now while playing.
  4. Make sure you are using the scripthookdotnet that comes with LCPDFR.
  5. Make sure your GTA IV directory is not set to "Read Only" and you are running the game as an administrator.

  7. No, those errors indicate missing values in the .ini file. They are not necessary for the game to function. I don't think the .ini even has those values filled in by default.
  8. There's a post here that shows more commandline parameters, but I believe the only ones that will increase performance also decrease visual quality.
  9. Download the attached file and put it in your GTA IV directory (where LaunchGTAIV.exe is)
  10. Just hangin' with my ghostly friend...
  11. It loads all the models that LCPDFR uses before starting the game. It can cause texture loss, but provides more stability.
  12. Under "UsingPoliceStationMod=False," add: PreloadAllModels=True
  13. In America, the 780s generally for $500-$600, the 780ti for $600-$900, and the 770 for $300-$400. Either card will get you great performance in games, but if you're willing to pay the price I would suggest the 780 or 780ti.

  16. Lots of other people have gone into ELS 8 without reading it first, so you're not alone. It's a lot to learn and figure out, but when you do it's definitely worth it.
  17. Remove everything under "Lstg3LightsMoveTraf = off," you no longer use ELS.ini to control the vehicle lighting. You say you read the posts, well perhaps you should have read the User Guide that comes with ELS first. You change the environment lighting in the vehicle configuration files in the ELS folder. I'm not going to explain how to use the VCF files because that is what the User Guide is for.

  19. The only explanation I have is GTA being GTA, unless someone else has a different theory.
  20. You have to set the status to off in _SLOTCONTROL.ini for the models that are not ELS activated. If you don't, the car will act weirdly.
  21. The error when you close the game is related to how LCPDFR installs the taser into the game. >This will explain how to fix that, but it isn't really a problem.
  22. Well, I need to see the vehicles you are using, because it sounds like they may not be ELS activated. A vehicle can't have ELS lights mixed with non-ELS lights, so there wouldn't a lightbar that works without ELS as well as lights that only work with ELS.
  23. If there are no logs, then it is most likely just because of GTA IV. Removing all of your mods (besides LCPDFR, obviously) may help.
  24. I'm not sure what could be happening, but this is relevant:
  25. Make sure you look if you have to dial 911... Scrunoy Data Meh, good enough
