  1. Nice car but missing key things. The lights at the back should have a white/clear line going through (check an actual X5 to see what I mean). Also the front of the car has to have a line on those grill like things on the side otherwise it looks like a mix of a X5 M and a regular X5.

  3. I highly recommend buying the steam version. The discs they distribute it with are unrelaible - both GTA 4 and EFLC discs I purchased had degraded over time. It got to a point where the system wouldn't recognize them anymore after 30 seconds in the drive, so I had to eject them then put them back in each time I wanted to start the launcher, which was very annoying. Never had any troubles with steam so far, and if you don't have an internet connection, you don't have to use the steam shortcut - you can just copy the launchers from the folder and create shortcuts on your desktop. If you're installing another one just for mods and such, all you have to do is just copy the folders and rename them, then shortcut the launcher - simple as that. No disc-errors or anything of the sort.
  4. Research the purpose for reflective markings, black and white, the history of police patternes etc. then look at a few departments (if you don't know which, just hit Google Earth and zoom in on any town you like, then find the police station there and use street view to look at the cars - it's a very fun way of finding new police departments). Then you will be able to come up with new ideas, but good looking and realistic ones, that even real police departments might have thought about... Good luck.
  5. That's because most mainstream US hip-hop has gone down the drain...
  6. Hitting the poly limit doesn't make sense - I have a police version of this car with a lightbar and more equipment, theoretically containing more polygons than this one, and I haven't experienced any problems with that model...
  7. For some reason this bug happens with my model. Has anyone encountered this before with their models, or knows what it is? Here is a video of the problem: All help and constructive feedback is appreciated
  8. Currently doing Camden Council (London) public works. It's the little things like this that make the game feel alot more fun and realistic. Good luck
  9. If you are using fraps they get saved to your fraps folder. If you take them in GTA 4, they will be in the GTA 4 directory... As for the "You may not: redistribute/re-upload or edit" you got it spot on. Some mod stealers like to lawyer their way out of things, to an unreasonable degree. Modders have to protect their work in as many ways as possible. But I think editing them and just playing with them on your PC, never exposing them beyond your HDD, that should be fine, seeing as no harm can be done to anyone.
  10. Nice video, a met police bike patrol is certainly something different! The Met don't use those sirens mind, BTP do though
  11. I think the commonly known answer is usually go ahead, edit it for personal use but don't distribute it anywhere or hand it out. That also means no videos or screenshots of your editied version. That's basically how it is with my stuff, I wouldn't mind but as long as everything stays private. Most modders put it in there for good measure.
  12. It's not about being pessimistic, it's about being sensible! A mobile that price... well I can't say how many robbers would love to get their hands on that lol ...
  13. Don't think I want to spend too much on a phone, might get mugged!
  14. *Update* Whelen Alpha/Beta sirens RELEASED! Click >here to download. New video uploaded: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRW1Fyu3twU Also appeals to many American audiences as these sirens are used in the States alot (or so I have heard)
  15. This is sad.
  16. The name of the model is "CAUTION_SIGN". It uses the resource "CJ_LD_MISSION" for its textures. As I said earlier, the offset is way off and it spawns into the ground.
