  1. You sure you followed the instructions for installing the "Extra Vehicles" for EFLC users? There are special steps to follow if you want to install those.
  2. Try learning to use the "Pen" tool (google it for some tutorials) I haven't seen your skins but I have seen some pretty boring ones on here sometimes and here's my tips for their creators on how to improve: Using an overlay like honeycomb pattern or checkerboard can add that substance and authentic touch to your reflective markings. Add a few decals like a US flag (but don't overdo it) and unit numbers, make your own unit code (10 for Algonquin South, 11 for Algonquin North, 20 for Bohan East etc. unit 235 - 235th car in fleet etc.), experiment with different fonts - I cannot stress how important it is with this - if your gonna just use Arial or the standard types then it will look boring... Polygon lasso is good - I use it quite alot but the Pen tool is what you want when you want curved edges...
  3. *New Video* Met Police - Robbery Squad 2: Bohan
  4. At the moment, I'd say: Metropolitan Police Service (London) - Incident Response - Area Cars - Traffic OCU - Robbery Squad (Unmarked) NYPD - Precinct/Patrol - ESU (Occasionally) - Unmarked Custom LCPD (With my own skins) - Any unit! Mainly front line patrol though...
  5. Anything with the prefix vdH behind it...
  6. MPS use CS spray as well. They are not Nokia phones, but Tetra radios clipped to the top of the vest for hands free communication. I have a Tetra radio model I created in 3DS Max a while ago, exact same one that the Met use, although it is not UV-Mapped. If you are able to UV map & texture it, you can add it to your police officer if you want and it can go in the MPS ped pack I released, as an update. I have reference images available if you want to know what they look like. We can schedule an agreed release date and I can remaster the skins a bit and create the preview video if your interested.
  7. I like the fact that you used the NYSP Tahoe on the highway, the best place for it. Which map did you use?
  8. Just a thought, now that your script includes custom events, are they dependent on the pedestrian proximity and traffic, and not on the map? Do the world events work on custom maps? (Without dependence on the LC-map.)
  9. Fantastic. Your mods are always good, and well planned. Downloading this right away!
  10. *UPDATE* I have posted an alternate download link of v2.6 for some users who are experiencing troubles downloading addon from the link provided in the main page.
  11. I get it all the time and it's really annoying and inappropriate. I think It's to do with the Policing Script mod, which is not connected to LCPDFR so has no means of communicating with it to tell the officers the arrested pedestrian is not hostile. I have noticed via observation that when you arrest a ped in LCPDFR, it permanently sets its behavior to calm, however with the side-effects of the Policing Script's resist arrest this may be setting the behavior back hostile countless times, without knowing the suspect is already arrested and in handcuffs. The result is, Police Officers engage hostile civilians.
  12. *New Video* Met Police - Ford Torneo Van, MSC Support Unit Alderney
  13. Can you remove or allow the siren function to have a key defining its use? Because I have a feeling it might conflict with some other scripts and it wouldn't be used as frequently.
  14. I use V6 frequently because of the halogen mode and I never see ELS vehicles despawn.
  15. I remember playing it. It was great when you got to choose your car roll out of the underground parking lot onto the streets...
  16. Could it be possible to define which slot gets used in police custody transport? I would like to utilize vans (installed in other slots, apart from police and police2) alot for this role as my local police force does so too, along with the rest of the world etc.
  17. I think that partly solving the problem would be to make the carrier units respond to scene code 1 - this way we wouldn't have to rely on the AI to turn off their lights/sirens while using ELS (which, is one of the main causes of crashes/texture loss as ELS vehicles never despawn)
  18. I think that ELS setup can be configured in the in-game menu if you get the options right (ALT-M). Also, only some police units would probably use this setup - it depends from force to force.
  19. Unfortunately you cannot modify them. I already tried to do so, searching for the right tool as well. The current version of GTAIvaud, v1.15, cannot open compressed speech or music audio. Apparently the author claimed that a v1.2 will come out supporting those features, but that was in 2009/10 and we haven't heard since.
  20. That unmarked FS mondeo is sweet...
  21. But don't AI drive like this without this mod already?
  22. Could you please not spam my thread for assistance in yours?
