  1. The mod is fairly amazing so far, however it is an alpha so it's rough around the edges. A few suggestions to look into in the future would be: Add a blip to pursuit suspects from traffic stopsThe animations for arresting sometimes bug out, repeating themselves. Can this be looked at?Enable us to use those ground arrest animations the AI cops use when arresting.A car computer/frisk system, much like LCPDFR.Fantastic work, and congrats to the entire G17 team!
  2. IT'S HAPPENING PEOPLE, THIS IS SOME T-MINUS GROUND ZERO STUFF RIGHT HERE!
  3. Another thing to do before release; scout locations in LS for Director mode remake of Beverly Hills Cop (Vinewood Hills Cop?)
  4. That's actually a pretty good badge skin - is there a link to that somewhere?
  5. First thing I'm gonna do when the mod comes out - make an LSPD officer that looks like Officer Tenpenny, pull over a taxi in the ghetto and order the passenger out menacingly while playing this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKxJIlgnbCY As a side note, when using the PA system in police cars, will we be able to use the animations from the Paleto score where one of the deputies uses the radio extender? that would be good for realism.
  6. That would be oddly appropriate, seeing as R* always does updates on tuesdays.
  7. That's the thing... because of all the hints being dropped, people are naturally assuming things and it's frankly getting a bit silly.
  8. Unfortunately, it looks like a R*- made police game mode won't ever happen. Their target audience is the one that likes explosions, mountain dew, dubstep and Michael Bay movies, not the realistic simulation audience. While a big-budget police GTA would be nice, it's extremely unlikely.
  9. This is relative we're talking about, 'almost imminent' could mean anything from an hour to a few days. We're all hoping here it'll be soon :)
  10. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH (continue for 10 pages)
  11. Is anyone else having an issue where the update says 'grand theft auto 5 is not installed on your system' when it clearly is?
  12. How I felt when playing L.A. Noire - still disappointed you couldn't do that.
  13. yep, someone's already put the Vice City map into it, just shows how fast this stuff is happening.
  14. Yeah, the wait is even worse now because I've caught a horrible cold. Why does time go by so slowly when you're ill?
  15. It would depend on what kind of road you do the stop on, I'd imagine... If you pull over a guy on the highway, he'd probably go onto the hard shoulder where traffic can just go on as normal. If it's in a two-lane in the middle of LS (don't forget most LS roads are quite wide or have a parking lane, so we could use those?), traffic would just probably go round as they're smarter now.
  16. Thing is, people have been able to import maps from Multiplayer into singleplayer (like the aircraft carrier and heist locations), so I assume it wouldn't be a long stretch before someone manages it. Maybe the guy who made the open all interiors mod will try it.
  17. I have an idea... if the Online police station contains an interview room, maybe we could have basic text-based interrogation of suspects? just for Roleplaying and moviemaking kind of stuff.
  18. So this is going to be Baywatch: the video game?
  19. Holy shit... can't wait to beat down a gangsta with my nightstick and slap the cuffs on him on the ground.
  20. Aaaaaaaany minute now....
  21. *IT'S HAPPENING.GIF*
  22. Say what you will about Cameron, he can sure issue one hell of a snarky comeback when it's needed.
  23. I kind of liked that badge, it was a funny satire of the heavy-handedness people associate with the NYPD. But realistic badges and door text would be pretty cool.
  24. Yes, but put it in context. Is one beat cop on a BMX a match for uzi-waving Lost gangsters in an armored van? Don't get me wrong, bike police would be fun for park patrol, but it is a little bit impractical.
