  1. No. You must use an audio hash for a vehicle with a siren in order for the siren to work for NPCs.
  2. No testing version has been released, not even to Albo. His recent video showcased some features of Arrest Manager that have been developed collaboratively to support Coastal Callouts. There are a few preview videos of various features under development on this WIP forum thread. When I am at the point of needing testers I will post information here.

  4. As it's been a couple weeks I wanted to give people a quick update on my progress. I've been working on this daily, there just hasn't been as much to show off as it's mostly been work on the code that you don't see directly. Created configuration files for all RDE 3.0 USCG vehicles, so they will work smoothly with Coastal Callouts when it is released. Special thanks to the RDE team for their collaboration. Additionally, my USCG ped texture and USCG Predator texture are both included with RDE 3.0 if you're interested in using them. Various tweaks to meta files to improve ambient ped spawning to make the two coast guard stations I've added to the game a bit more realistic. Implemented a system to replace ambient vehicle spawns at the coast guard stations with appropriate vehicles. Coast Guard boats and trucks will now spawn at the main coast guard station, and appropriate aircraft will spawn at the coast guard air station at LSIA. Continued improvements to the boat pursuit AI. Working with Alex Ashfold to create several Coast Guard outfits for use with EUP/SUP. These include life vests, short and long sleeve uniforms, hats, various helmets, tactical vests, cold weather gear, and more. By the time Coastal Callouts launches you'll be able to go on duty as your EUP character appropriately dressed for any maritime situation! I would also like to extend a special thank-you to everybody who has generously donated to support my mods, and everybody who has shown their enthusiasm for the development of Coastal Callouts.   5. Also remember that Process gets called on every tick. So if you're going to have random chances of different things happen, you need to track which decision you made, and store that somewhere so you don't keep randomly choosing actions over and over again, hundreds of times a minute. An easy way to do this is to create an enum of possible states, then choose randomly from that enum in your OnCalloutAccepted method. Store the chosen enum value then refer to that as appropriate in Process.

  8. Somebody was working on a realistic LAFD ambulance a while back, but it never got released. Not sure if the model was finished or what, but at any rate, here we are. The ambulance and firetruck are the only two vehicles I use all the time which I currently have as stock vehicles, because there just aren't any good replacements. Modeling is hard, which is why we don't have them of course. Hopefully someday! But I know it would be a lot of work to make a good firetruck model for sure.
  9. PimDSLR's model isn't very good, it's missing a wheel on the back and the LODs are messed up. The Rambulance has a bad lighting setup. He's right, there's no good ambulance models.
  10. It's literally impossible, for two reasons. One, it's technologically impossible to put LSPDFR on consoles. Second, even if it were, the developers aren't going to rewrite it for consoles. And third (oops, make that 3 reasons), none of the plugin developers who make callouts and such are going to ever rewrite it for console. Because it isn't possible, but also because we don't want to. I'm sorry for those who can't access GTA for PC, but this is literally never ever ever going to happen. No amount of positive thinking will change that.

You think you put all the files in the right places, but if you did, it would probably work, so chances are you didn't. But you don't say in what way it doesn't work, so it's hard to know. Try running Albo's troubleshooter.

  15. Where in the story is there a body bag? If there's an existing prop, that's something we can integrate into the coroner feature.
  16. You're not doing anything wrong, it's meant to not always be able to save them. In the next update you'll be able to edit a file to modify survival probability for various injury types.
  17. What do you mean? Sometimes peds are revived, sometimes they aren't. Not everybody survives. You aren't supposed to be able to edit the mod. And even if you could, it certainly wouldn't be by opening the DLL in Notepad.
  18. All of those have already been done in some form or another. There's a variety of overdose calls in several different callout packs, there's many different packs with traffic collisions, at least a couple with pedestrian hit-and-runs. I don't know of one with a broken window i guess.
  19. I honestly don't understand why you guys bundled RPH with LSPDFR knowing full well it would become outdated and end up wasting lots of people's time with posts like these...
  20. Albo is rewriting Police Radio and we are talking about moving the coroner functionality into Better EMS. Won't happen right away as I'm busy working on some new stuff but it's being planned.
  21. Development continues! I moved houses last week, which delayed progress a bit, but my computer is back up and running and I'm back at it. Added support for extensive user customization of how boats and helicopters will be used, so that any custom model can be installed and still take full advantage of Coastal Callouts features. Includes options such as specifying which rappel point to use on helicopters for the hoist, which seats to prefer for loading people into helicopters, which seats police on boats should sit in and fire from, positioning for attaching boats to trailers, positioning the heli hoist camera, and even down to specifying which extras to toggle on vehicles under certain situations. Development of custom Boat Pursuit AI continues! Still lots of work to do on this part, but it's coming along. Added landing mode to helicopter copilot AI, so the player can select a landing zone and then the helicopter pilot will land automatically. With this in place an entire heli mission can be flown by a copilot, although you can easily switch in and out of the pilot seat to experience all the best action first-hand. Continuing improvements to various ped, boat, and helicopter models which will be included in a custom DLC with Coastal Callouts. Converted an unused Pegasus hangar at LSIA into a coast guard hangar, so you'll have somewhere to store your larger coast guard aircraft.
  22. It's Better EMS, not Better Coroner. Though someday in a future update I plan to add some features to deal with those who didn't make it.

  24. It seems that while (without enhancements) the player gets tired and eventually slows down, fleeing suspects have no such limitation. People do get tired eventually, perhaps there could be something which looks at how long the pursuit has been going on and gradually reduces the suspect's running speed as they get more tired.
  25. Yeah RPH works just fine with the new update.
