@Voltrock not sure I follow. The mh65 model is using the textures it came with from the fsx model I purchased and skyline converted. I made some modifications to change it from Los Angeles to Los Santos. You are saying you have some other textures you'd like to contribute or what? If you have an improved texture please send me a PM and we can figure out how to use it!

Introducing the 47-foot Motor Life Boat! @JordanDevlin purchased this model for us, and his latest episode shows it in action: Big thanks to @SkylineGTRFreak for doing a great conversion of this model. It should be available to Coastal Callouts beta testers soon, although I have some more work left to do on the layouts and textures when I return from my trip before it's 100% complete.

I've answered this recently, check the previous page. I don't know a release date yet because the mod is not yet finished.

To use the beta you need a license file, and I can only generate a license file using my home computer, so unfortunately I can't do it any quicker. I actually tried to do it from a computer in a hostel I was staying at (that's how much I care about you guys!) but it wouldn't work. Rest assured that as soon as I get home I'll take care of everyone who donated while I was gone. I know you're all eager to try the mod, but I did make my absence known in advance and there isn't anything more I can do from my phone over wifi in a foreign country. Thank you everyone for your patience!

I don't know yet when the mod will be ready for full public release. The beta still has a lot of work left to do. But keep an eye on this page, I will definitely make an announcement when the release is imminent.

I'm planning to have some environmental response/enforcement as well as fisheries enforcement callouts. One thing in particular I need to figure out still is if I can find a particle effect that'll work for pollution in the water. But I'm definitely planning on having some stuff like that!

It may also be related to my own lack of updates to the beta. The good news is I made it out of the wilderness alive! The bad news for you nerds is I'm still out for another couple weeks... but rest assured I have many new ideas for what to work on when I return!

The $20 USD one-time donation gets you access, but unfortunately I can't grant access to anything until I return from my trip, sorry! I'll process all donations right away when I get home. As for your suggestions, I only have internet on my phone for a brief moment here but I'll just say that I think you'll be quite pleased with what the mod has to offer! Wow! This is amazing! I'll have my work cut out for me to put this amazing ship to use when I get back - can't wait!

Better EMS
If the dev needs any additions to the API to make it work I'm happy to add what's necessary. I don't even have a mic on my gaming PC though, so there's really not much I can do myself to implement it.

Better EMS
Better EMS has a very thorough API available. I don't use Vocal Dispatch, therefore I have neither the equipment, time, or interest to develop this integration myself. The author of Vocal Dispatch could easily integrate Better EMS themselves if they wish to do so. If this is a feature you'd like to see, I'd suggest contacting the author of Vocal Dispatch.

NYPD Model Requests for the port of Liberty City
I mean you're free to develop what you want, but you talk about buying models and don't even offer to buy the models yourself. Just so you know, it's a lot to ask. Maybe you will get lucky and someone will do it, but don't feel entitled to it.

NYPD Model Requests for the port of Liberty City
Let's wait and see if the LC port actually works and is any good before we put too much effort into making things for it.

[REL] Coastal Callouts Discussion Thread
I'd just like to give everybody a heads up: I'm going on vacation for the next 3 weeks. During this time I will not have reliable internet access, and will have 0 access to my computer. I'm heading down to South America for some trekking: Hopefully the youtubers will be able to keep you guys entertained in the meantime with some more videos! What this means though is aside from not posting any development updates, I also won't be able to process any new members of the beta program while I am gone. I will process any new beta participants who sign up by 8 PM Pacific Time on Tuesday, Feb 21st. Anybody who signs up after that point I will process when I return from my trip. Many thanks to everybody who has donated, helped with the beta, shared videos, and followed along to provide encouragement! I'm definitely excited to get a little break and get away from the computers for a bit, but will also be eager to get back into it as soon as I return.

Thank you to @Kilyin for debuting his return to LSPDFR videos with a Coastal Callouts helicopter episode! This is a pretty exciting episode, in which he pulls off a daring rescue of 4 sail boat passengers in a bad storm:

Huge thanks to @SkylineGTRFreak for all his great work on making compatible models for this mod! This mod simply wouldn't be the same without him. I've just started working on this feature, and it's still in the "messing around with testing code" phase, not worked into the menus yet, but yes boat towing works!

Thanks for re-reading what I said and correcting yourself. And as my final comment on this matter, let us just remember who invented "alternative facts". Feel free to believe what you want to believe, objectively speaking "making stuff up" is in no way confined to the "left media".

Channel 7 News story on LSPDFR
"Cuck" is offensive, even if it's not a "swear" word. "Libtard" doesn't seem like a very nice phrase either. If you don't think those are rude, then maybe you're blinded by your own glee in "triggering liberals" or whatever satisfaction it is that some people seek in using these terms. This report was obviously a misguided but ultimately pro-police angle. They're saying "gamers want to shoot police; the police are scared". That's a pro-police stance, not an anti-police stance. Of course they misunderstand that the mod is pro-police, which is what makes their report so absurd, but they are presenting themselves as being pro-police. To take the other extreme, if an outlet that you'd probably consider to be biased liberal media like DailyKOS reported on this mod in a manner as biased as Channel 7 did, they would say "this mod is bad because it lets people play as evil cops and shoot innocent people". But 7 reported the exact opposite, they said "this mod is bad because it lets you shoot cops".

Channel 7 News story on LSPDFR
That news report sounded way more like FOX news than CNN, come on. Making stuff up, appealing to the geezer demographic, taking the "THEY'RE TRYING TO KILL COPS" angle. Anyone who watched that report and got "libtards" out of it needs to reevaluate their political biases and consider that not everything you dislike is proliferated by a political party you disagree with. Also you're a f'ing moderator, you shouldn't be encouraging people to use language like that on the forums. For shame.

By the way, I will be making all of the seats you see usable, so peds can sit in the passenger area below deck, on the inside bridge, or on the upper bridge. And you will be able to take any ped you have rescued and put them into the passenger area to transport them back to shore. I am also working on the much-requested "boat towing" feature, which will let you pull a disabled boat back to port with a rope. If I can get it to work reliably with the AI I will also add an option to request an AI boat to tow away a vessel, but at the very least the player will be able to do it themself.

Psh. Ask them what kinds of offenses.

Channel 7 News story on LSPDFR
The key thing they've missed (or intentionally misrepresented) is that this mod isn't even about shooting police. Quite the opposite! GTA V is about shooting police, LSPDFR turns that concept on its head and is about being the police. Chasing the bad guys. I think you'll be hard-pressed to find a group in this demographic (generally male, teen-mid 20s, gamers) that supports police as much as the members of this community.
