Huh, so it's forbidden to create 3D models of cars and redistribute them for free? I guess same goes for drawings and photographs then. It's really disturbing to see how much respect you guys have for modders. Seeing attacks like this coming even from staff and former staff members, it is totally reasonable to lock models, you won't get recognition anyway, so why share your hard work? -

It's a pity the only way to get proper rotators is using the cruise light, since there is no steady pattern for all extras, or at least the primary light extras. Using the drot mode and covering the extras using invisible parts might work as well, but it definitly doesn't look that good, depending on the rotator. I would love to see a proper rotator pattern, allowing the (steady) use of enough extras for all 8 sirens. And guys, please don't act like the idea of adding extras into the siren dummies is new at all, I know that two years ago people were already experimenting with that, but were lacking a proper script.

Both. I'm still working on things like the NYSP pack or the taxi pack and I still want to release them. I simply don't know how long it takes until everything is finished. A problem with these packs is that as soon as there's one small detail you need change, there're tons of cars needing updates, and in the meantime even more things are getting updated. The NYSP pack used to be almost complete at one point, but currently, only the normal CVPI has the updated setups, like proper equipment and ELS pattern. Additionally, there are problems like the boot thing for this car. I simply don't really want to release a car that has issues that (like the boot in this case) act totally different than on normal cars, even though it basicly works fine. Why I'm keeping many things personal at the moment: Some modders are deciding not to release certain parts, I'm obviously going to respect their wishes, that's for example the reason why I'm not going to release any Caprices. Apart from that, majority of the cars I create right now are for testing. I use them in my own game, but they aren't really compatible to anything else. I don't like releasing cars with completely different light setups because I know I'll always get questions for the same setup on a different model. Why I'm not releasing anything at all currently: I'm sick of all those fights in the community and between websites, I'm discouraged and I don't know where to release anymore. -

The arrow boards, another great feature of ELS 8, also great to use for lights like this LED matrix. My only issue currently is that I had to assign it to the boot, since using bonnet doesn't work properly, probably an ELS bug. -

Your first issue is no bug, the LED mode for secondaries simply uses a random pattern for extra_8. Try using the drct mode, there's a proper pattern.

Updated the car shown in the picture posted earlier. The lights have been replaced and equipment was added to the trunk. It's a demo vehicle not based on any real deparment. A release will be considered if there's enough interest. -

Might be the ENB, but now it looks like the chrome parts like grill area and headlights don't reflect at all. The headlight textures look a bit odd as well, you might be able to find better textures. By the way, the indicators itself aren't supposed to be orange, that's just the LED. I'd love to see different versions of the Touran in future, since it's a common police car in many european countries. -

Of course it is. Even if you don't want to believe it, even LCPDFR is a mod, and it also "breaks" the original game, since you're not using it in a way you're supposed to. It's actually an even worse change than replacing NOOSE with SWAT. If you don't like a mod, don't use it, if you post that once, alright, but for me and others, it's a pain in the arse to constantly come across postings like that. I don't see why I would report anybody for his opinion, even though it is obviously intolerant provoking. I'm just telling you you won't achieve anything and pissing people off won't help your reputation within the community either.

How about you stop spamming every single thread with complaints about modifications? If you don't like mods, fine, but you're seriously just annoying the hell out of everyone - on a *modding* website.
