  1. No news yet... Just keep looking at the blue announcement area that currently says "Are you ready, world? Today, we take a look at the sequel to LCPDFR". When they're ready to release the info, that announcement area will change. Or, just keep browsing the Forums until it pops up.
  2. Can't wait! Thanks for letting us know buddy :)
  3. Well while we're throwing out suggestions.... I'd like the backup that I call to work something like this, Options for either "Backup" or "Pursuit Backup". When I call for backup, they (the two Officers that arrive in their vehicle) automatically join my squad/group and will follow me around until I "Dismiss Backup". I always wanted this in GTA IV (and we sort of got this) for certain callouts such as "Burglary/Tresspassing, possible Shooting" etc. This way I can bring them with me instead of them driving away while I'm searching for the suspect. When I call for pursuit backup, they work in a similar fashion to IV's backup in the sense that they search for the nearest criminal and begin pursuing them. Just my thoughts :)
  4. Yeah makes sense... As I told cp702, I'm sure once modding happens and we get some sort of config.ini or whatever it will be called this time around, changing the amount of police, where they are, and what they're doing should be a breeze. If not immediately, someone will mod this option in because there are A LOT of people who have the same feelings you do toward this. So no worries :)
  5. Update here... Alexander Blade says he's got a Script Hook working.... This also sounds promising.
  6. Yeah good point, I hear ya... But I'd imagine that once we're able to mod, upping the number of patrols shouldn't be much of a problem for someone that wants to :)
  7. Well there's mixed feelings about this... Here's my take though.... We don't see them as often and they don't spawn every 2.5 seconds like in GTA IV which means.... 1. Less Memory usage, and when (if) LSPDFR happens, the script won't have to constantly be under pressure reading AI cops all the time, leading to a pursuit at every corner, and sometimes a crash. 2. For me, it's a little more realistic. It's pretty rare that I see a Police Vehicle, maybe 3 times a week. But they do spawn, patrol, and on occasion are involved in the random pursuits. You just have to spend enough time in Free roam to see this but it definitely happens, both in Los Santos and in Blaine County.
  8. Hell I just want LSPDFR :)
  9. Not for me, they say Los Santos Highway Patrol. Maybe it's a regional thing? Not sure why they have it changed in different regions (Conroe, Texas U.S.A.)
  10. Hmm... For some reason I can't view the photos... What are they?
  11. "even with all settings on low." Sadly, there's not even a "Low" settings option. The lowest is normal, but because there's so much you can't turn off like speedometers, super reflections, super light rays etc. You're really stuck with either Very High or Ultra. Sigh, perhaps someone will have a mod that allows more proper settings so folks can drop them to an actual Medium or Low, instead of Ultra without AA. Not even joking.
  12. Well, there's already a Trainer out for it. Google mrantifun and go to his website. I use his trainers quite often actually and I'm surprised to see him come out with a trainer so soon. Not too many options yet, but probably more to come.
  13. Well I have to say, it would've been nice if it were possible to lower the Graphics settings more. Despite what the settings tell you, you're pretty much stuck with Very High or Ultra due to some unnecessary things running that should be optional (speedometers for example, since I don't play in first person). I get an average of 32 FPS and my GPU wants to run around 76-80 degrees (way too hot), which is unacceptable for my specs.... GTX 770 2GB GPU AMD FX 8350 8 core CPU 8 GB RAM Asus M5A97 LE Motherboard 1 TB Hard Drive I even had to drop my resolution to a stupid level, and drop the detail distance below half. While the game may look great, it's poorly optimized for anyone with less than a GTX 980, which I feared would happen.
  14. Everyone else has already answered the majority of the problem so I won't hound you about that... But GTA IV isn't the best port to PC, and the vanilla game itself has a few problems. Nothing major, but when you add mods, they become major issues. That having been said, let's hope that GTA V will be better for us. Again, it's not the fault of the modders (99% of the time).
  15. Well, I hate to say it but...... If the family had been black, there would've been riots again, and I'd be called a Cracker, Honkey, Pinky etc. This race baiting is getting out of hand. But on the topic of the video, I believe the shooting was justified. The Officers tried everything else first, and I applaud them for not reaching for their firearms immediately.
  16. Please FinKone......... Please stick around for GTA 5 :)
  17. Will Texas finally secede?
  18. It's nice to see something new, thank you for the creativity!!!
  19. My Aunt lives in Pearland, you did a fantastic job!
  20. Well that's your opinion and way off topic. I brought it up in a group of other lies my government has told me over my 41 years, and then summed it up with a point. This topic is over whether or not people believe the U.S. Government had anything to do with 9/11. Thank you for your input (ignorant as it may be) and have a wonderful day :)
