  1. I think they should round the police car a bit more, the pillars are too boxy in my opinion. They're like this: / \ It should be more rounded and curved. Other than that, I'm happy with the new look.
  2. Here is a little analysis I made on GTAF: http://www.gtaforums...entry1061624997
  3. Look at the Vapid! They changed it! It looks more like a 98-2011 now!
  4. Try using commandlines. This guide shows how to use them: http://www.gamespot.com/grand-theft-auto-iv/forum/command-line-options-46867982/ Turn off Clip Capture if it's not off already. Use low poly vehicles, in fact, the game's original models will do you best when you have low specs.

  6. You would have to rename the website too, right? A name for both LCPDFR and LSPDFR. Like firstresponse.com ?
  7. What's wrong with the one you linked above? Does it work in-game?
  8. That's what I'm thinking... I sure hope so.
  9. Am I the only one here who wants them to show a picture of the Police Cruiser? Or the slicktop one (which we saw in the trailer)? I want to see if they have a 98-2011 one now. If I was R*, I would make the front look like a 98-11, and have the tailights look like a 95-97. I never really liked the 92-97 fronts, but I loved the rear. More so than the 98-11's.
  10. If you want to run it normal bad enough, you could always get it for xbox. Hell, you could probably get both the game and the xbox for under $30. But if you're fine playing with no roads, then it's better to save money. I love the Crown Vics in this game. They combined them just like GTA IV did with the Vapids. The headlights and tailights look like a 98-11, the grille looks like a Mercury Gran Marquis, and the tallights are slightly modified. With the hazards, reverse, and brake lights all put together. The body looks like a 98-2011 Crown Vic.
  11. Yes sir. Look in your ELS.ini, and there is a section where you can change the colors. There's a reference on the bottom, to tell you which numbers go for what colors. I can't post it now, since I'm not on my gaming PC.
  12. Did you get it running? You've inspired me to play it again also, on xbox. I'm having fun. We're probably the only two people on this planet to be playing this game lol.
  13. I think the problem with GTA IV is that the lights all turn on at once, and then go off, and you don't have a closer flash pattern, or always a visible light. If they could always have lights on while the others turn off, and have them turn off when the others go on, it would be much better. Otherwise, the effects aren't bad. But the reflection radius and intensity could be a bit stronger.
  14. This game is just as good, if not better if you ask me. This is one game you don't want to miss out on, or at least get it when the price goes down. But I agree with you, I loved True Crime: NYC. I gotta get back to it.
  15. @nat: I got it for PC, and I think it's better on PC; better graphics for the most part, if you have the hardware. But it may be easier if you have a joypad, because using the keyboard can be tricky with this type of game. I don't know about the modding. The modding community doesn't seem to be as big as the GTA community, we'll have to wait and see. Even if there is going to be mods, they probably won't be as good, or as many of them, compared to GTA.
  16. That's what I do. But I find them to be a little aggresive, more so than the LCPDFR ones. Maybe it's because they have an M16 instead of a pistol? I should probably choose a different weapon for them. So if you do that, you can have several body guards. You can also save the settings to the trainer.ini.
  17. Do you have enough juice to run the game? Two cores isn't bad, but it's not great, leading me to believe that your other specs are not up to par. Any other mod installed? Such as other scripts? I think it could be one or even both of those things I listed above.
  18. In the following order, from my favorites, to least favorites: 1. GTA San Andreas: It had a good story, and great variety (Country side, desert, city's, etc...). 2. GTA Vice City: It had a great story, characters, and theme (setting, time period, soundtrack, voice acting). For me, it's a tie between San Andreas and Vice City, I only put Vice City second because I had to pick one of them to put below. 3. GTA IV: Realism, great story, and characters. 4: VCS: Great follow-up to Vice City, great soundtrack (again), characters, and new gameplay elelments. I know we're not counting LCS and VCS, but I feel as if they belong in my list, as they are important games of the franchise too. 5: GTA III: Great weapons, simple but crisp gameplay, addictive (the sound of picking up guns and such), and started the 3D era. 6: GTA LCS: Okay characters, bad soundtrack, okay story. 7: GTA I: I've never played it, but it started it all. 8: GTA II: I played the demo, but I just couldn't get into it.
  19. I love this game. I just found out yesterday that you could change radio stations. Before I had it on low volume, since I didn't like the Chinese music. But I turned it back up once I found that out. I like the 80s station, and the classic rock station. The game is even better now with music! I hope there's a sequel to it. I loved TC:NY, but I never finished it. I've gotta get back to it soon, maybe after this. I might try getting it for my PC, since it has less glitches than the Xbox version. The graphics look great too! I took some pictures of the game running on max settings if any of you are interested: http://www.gtaforums...entry1061589728
  20. Why Are You Typing Like This Lol? Us members don't know when it's coming out. It may not even come out for us, and instead, they'll focus on releasing the next version to us. Only time will tell.
  21. It would be cool if other officers requested transport for a criminal; you pick them up, and drop them off. Boring, but variety.
