Laptops cost more then 200$-400$ For a decent computer you're looking at 600-1000. For a laptop that can run GTA IV, like an Alienware 18, you're going to need about 2100$ to start. If you build your own, the prices can get way higher.

The bystander is a gang member. It happens when you fire a weapon around them. Even a tazer. GTA IV doesn't have Tazers, its an added thing with LCPDFR, so they see it as a pistol going off. As for the errors, it's not related to LCPDFR, the log doesn't show an error. In order for you to get the GTA IV commands back to normal and have a normal, running GTA IV then you need to re-install the game. No it will not delete your saved games. Uninstall GTA Iv, delete the Rockstar Games folder in your Program Files, Install GTA IV.

Hey man sorry for the problem. So Alt+T is supposed to holster your Tazer. When pressed you'll see him do an arm action to his left side, after that, you're going to wanna hit T. Be sure to have your weapon on the Fist, not your pistol. After you hit T, scroll your weapon wheel to where your pistol would be and it should be your Tazer. Hope that helped and was that simple of a fix lol. -OBB

If your game is throwing errors after you exit the game and not during, then you have nothing to worry about. It happens to a lot of people, myself included. As for the FPS loss, try adding a command line. And even if you have a good computer, try downloading Razer Game Booster. Reallllly helps. It stops any process from running that doesn't need to be and really bumps performance up. Hope that helps :) -OBB

He doesn't want the letters to change he wants the patterns to change. ELS6 is old. It doesn't have any "extra" lights. What i showed above explains how to change the light patters for each lightstage and section for ELSv8. Any older version, whether it be LCPDFR, ELS, or any mod/script, people aren't going to give support for. They are going to want support for the most updated version of whatever. If he gets ELS6 and ends up needing help, almost anyone who replies will tell him to just get ELSv8.

Try getting a new saved game and replacing your old one. You'll need to use the xlive.dll ASI Loader instead of dsound. You can find a saved game 100% complete through a google search. Your saved game data is located C:UsersyourusernameDocumentsRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames Edit: Any problem that happens before LCPDFR is activated in game is not an LCPDFR issue. Your issue is a GTA IV problem. For future reference :)

Everyones computer is different. I took the visualsettings from CRY ENB, changed a lot in that file to best accommodate me and my computer performance. You will probably never recreate someone else's experience on LCPDFR that you see on a video. People have different scripts and mods and weapon mods, ped mods, road mods, you name it, there is probably a mod for it for GTA IV. Trial-and-Error is your best friend. If something doesnt look good, take it out and try something else. Always remember to change one thing at a time just in case something goes wrong you know exactly what it is and why.

You could take a screenshot, save the picture and when you quote someone, at the bottom of the message box, it says Attach Files. And you can upload your picture that way. No that is not normal. You're supposed to only have one GTA IV Folder. A fresh install is recommended. After you uninstall, delete the GTA IV Folders, then reinstall. After that, make sure the game works then install LCPDFR. Once that works, start adding mods, one at a time to ensure stability.

That's for linking your LCPDFR account to the mod. If you can't provide what the moderator has listed, him nor anyone can help you.

That's not a bug or an issue. ELS isn't designed for you to add vehicle models hence why it's not working. This should go in GTA IV Forums. Edit: however, I do want to bring up the multiple support requests that, a lot of peoples games crash when loading the saved game or shortly there after. It can be remedied, by turning AI_Sp and Mp to off. Some desire to have it on for AI for added realism, I.M.O. it works for so I keep them off. Maybe not entirely an 'issue' but would like to bring it up to a moderator. I'm not sure if it's an issue with ELS8. But a lot of people including myself have a problem when loading saved games or shortly there after, the game crashes. Turning AI_Sp and Mp off in the ELS ini remedies it but i'm sure people want them on for realism.

I don't believe that's an ELS issue. There is no such thing as polpatriot2 and FBI2 [ AMBULANCE ] [ FBI ] [ FIRETRUCK ] [ NOOSE ] [ NSTOCKADE ] [ POLICE ] [ POLICE2 ] [ POLICE3 ] //EFLC [ POLICE4 ] //EFLC [ POLICEB ] //EFLC [ POLPATRIOT ] [ PSTOCKADE ] Those are all the only First Response vehicles in GTAIV.
