Turns ELS off for the cops in your game. The computer cops. Edit: It has helped a lot of people turning these off until a fix can be released. Including me.

This problem is happening with a lot of people. Go to GTA IV root directory. Open ELS.ini Go to bottom and find these lines: Ai_Els_Sp = off Ai_Els_Mp = off Turn them to off. Save and close. Start GTA IV, enjoy.

On the other hand, LCPD cops shouldn't be hauling this much ass towards another cop. Watch in 720pHD for a more clear video.

Maybe in the ini you should change the QuickActionMenu key from LeftThumb to something else and maybe the siren will work. Cause I know if you hold it down it will sound the horn while the QAM is up.

If you get an error in traffic flow too often, then search for TrafficLoad. (what I use) It has the same effect, just doesn't spawn a shit ton of cars and use up a bunch of memory. Real good for Low-Mid grade PC's. You may have a decent computer, but whatever works for you.

C:Program FilesRockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto IV Open the ELS FOLDER. Select the config file for the car you want to change the colors for. Scroll down till you find this: Extra_1 = red Extra_2 = blue Extra_3 = red Extra_4 = blue Extra_5 = white Extra_6 = white Extra_7 = amber Extra_8 = amber Extra_9 = amber ^--Change yours to what I put.

It happens. Usually when the LCPDFR website has issues your accounts won't link. Keep trying every once in a while. Once it links you won't have to do it again unless the site has major issues.

It should already be in your LCPDFR Folder. It comes with v1.0 and certainly comes with 1.0c Re-download and select manual download. Once downloaded open it and move the Diagnostics tool into your folder if it really isn't there.

Go to your GTA IV root folder. (C:Program FilesRockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto IV) Open LCPDFR Folder Open LCPDFR Diagnostics Tool On the bottom select 'Advanced Mode' Then select 'Configure LCPD First Response' Select the LCPDFR.ini then hit Open Click on 'Account Settings' Tab on the top. Enter LCPDFR credentials. (Same as you would if you were to log into these forums) Select 'Link' Done.

Thank you for giving me credit. :) It's not a fix for everyone. Just the users who's games are crashing on startup, loading saved games, or instant crashes when using els8. Use the above as a last resort solution. A lot of people like to have AI ELS active for the added realism. So if you can have AI ELS on with no crashes, then keep them on. If you don't use multiplayer (like me), or use xlivess then turn AI_MP off anyway seeing as you don't go online.

Not bad man. I like the dude in the opening credit just gettin downnnnn. You should go in to the LCPDFR configuration tool and link your LCPDFR account to your LCPDFR game. That way when the stats are back up and running, you'll have all your arrests and what-not.

Try turning AI_SP = On to Off and AI_MP = on to Off in the els8 ELS.ini

You need to turn the AI_SP = On to OFF Same for AI_MP = On to OFF Its in the els8 ELS.ini A lot of people are having this problem.

I try and put out videos every other day or so. I have not done full patrols, just action clips pretty much. If you like them then "like" them, if you don't then keep it to yourself ;) Just bought an Xbox 360 controller, so I'm getting used to that, videos with the controller will be up in the next day or two.

ELS isn't macro'd to your controller. Use xpadder.

Yeah that's my remedy. reverse till my bumper is against theirs but no damage to either.
