  1. The part I find funny is it's a bit easier to tell a Southerner from another American abroad - Rednecks will whoop and holler when a lady starts to undo her bra; most other Americans will simply turn away out of decency. Off-topic: Hi, Will Find You, I'm Gaz.
  2. You can change the dimensions of the window with -width (width) -height (height) I run 1280×720 personally.
  3. EvilJackCarver posted a gallery image in GTA IV Galleries
  4. vdH PoliceHelper was designed against LCPDFR 0,95-RC2R2, which is outdated by at least a year. Abraxas has also left the modding scene: and LCPDFR 0,95 is unsupported: so the best option would be to remove the modification (or not use that specific feature).
  5. Mine runs around 50°C idling, 60°C on Temp1 is overheat threshold, and my computer will sound an audible alarm then. If it hits 65°C my computer will "thermal out" to protect my core system components from further damage. Also, if my processor fan stalls, it'll sound an audible alarm. Edit: I see it's time to dust out the tower again.
  6. Can I get a handling line for >this thing? It says it was optimized to run the default police2 handling line, bit I'd like the Vic feel I know and love, and my previous 2 I tried were a smidge top-heavy.

  8. I'd say get an actual PC ("gaming laptop" is an oxymoron) or if you absolutely want to play it on a laptop and need a graphics mod, go for a timecyc - a timecyc mod needs less powerful hardware to run than an ENB.
  9. I joined on 2013-12-28, so about this long.
  10. I could run about 3 hours back on 0,95RC2R2 but that was mostly vanilla. These days I'm lucky to get an hour in.
  11. It'll be on the second Tuesday of next week. But in all seriousness...
  12. I think that's the issue. Try running Overwolf as an admin, and/or try running GTA4 as a regular user (preferably the former)
  13. I just tried it with my modded-to-hell copy, works fine. Are you runnin gGTA4 as administrator? It's possible that Overwolf is unable to do anything to it due to permissions issue.
  14. Hello, During the Drunken Disturbance callout, I was attempting to approach the scene near Star Junction and it threw this error: (Don't ask me why half those lines look like they got hit in the face with an RLO operator) This issue has not recurred when the callout is repeated, and I can do further callouts of this nature without the issue recurring. --- I am also unable to do the Suspicious Watercraft callout, as every time I accept it's CODE-4'd. No stack trace is generated, and I cannot find anything in the log regarding it. All logs other than lcpdfr.log overwrite when a new session begins, so I doubt they'll be of much use; however I've uploaded them anyway in case someone can get useful information off of them. --- SYSTEM INFORMATION OS: Windows 7 build 6.1.7601 Architecture: x64 Startup Timestamp: 2014-12-24, 12:24:08 GTA4 Directory: C:UsersGAZWILMBROKEDesktopzGTAIV Game Acquisition Method: Digital Distribution (Steam) Game Version: 1.0.7.0 Game Modifications: Hardware Mainboard: Gigabyte M68MT-S2 RAM: 8192MB DDR3 CPU: AMD FX-4100 3,601MHz GPU: nVidia GTX750Ti PSU: EVGA 500B Commandline.txt -noprecache -windowed -novsync -novblank -frameLimit 0 -width 1280 -height 720 -percentvidmem 100
  15. I'm sure one exists out there, but a quick search turned up only one and though a few other police boats exist, I'd really rather stick with the Predator.
  16. It's an issue with the model itself. If it's unlocked and you know what you're doing you can try to fix it on your own, but I'd nag the mod-author about it. (If you don't know what software to use to go about editing the model, you'd probably be better off nagging the mod-author)
  17. I got a new seating arrangement. Leather executive chair, very nice and quite comfortable. Beats the piano stool I've been using for 2 years now.
  18. Yeah it should be safe to plug into a surge protector; if you try to draw more amperage than it's rated for, the built-in circuit breaker will cut.
  19. You would have to edit the model itself.
  20. LCPDFR is alright. I voted 3 because with ELS8 and LCPDFR it's difficult to play a full hour without crashing (if someone's able to do it, PM me your setup?) and each crash generally annoys me because I'm usually in the middle of a pursuit and just catching up to the suspect when it crashes.
  21. I'd suggest remapping the right mirror to use extra_9 (note that special stuff would need to be done) - making something an extra_7 and an extra_8 that appear to be intended to flash in sequence with each other drives me insane. (That's why I nitpick so much about Bugz's Whelen Edge - it's mapped 7/8 instead of 7/9.)
