  2. I've heard a 50/50 mix of water and antacid works wonders. Not 100% sure myself since I've never gotten a face full of Mace though.
  3. It's bad practice. Before I got the GPU I'm running now, I had the visualsettings.dat from Kanyo's timecyc mod, and I tried it with the timeyc from several ENBs. Most of them turned up black-screening, but I did manage success with one. I think it was Next-Gen ELS ENB? Key word: think.
  4. Find a timecycle modification. Timecycle mods are different from ENBs in that timecyc mods only replace two files - timecyc.dat and visualsettings.dat (and maybe some shaders) whereas ENBs replaces a bunch of files and add a few more. If you've got EFLC, I'd recommend Sgt. Kanyo's timecyc mod. If you don't, however, I wouldn't recommend it as there's a bug in the timecyc.dat file that causes filmgrain.

  6. I'm laughing so hard, soda just shot out of my nose and it burns.
  7. It does. I've accidentally forgotten to add policeb to it. I don't think LCPDFR supports non-emergency vehicles being set as transport models (I've had the Hakumai set in mine for the longest time and have seen it none) - last I checked, it liked police1-police4, policeb, and emer1-emer7 (I could be thinking of ELS8 though)
  8. Turn down your vehicle deform multiplier in your handling.dat. I don't remember which digit this is, though, but I know that it is what's doing that (merely because I did an experiment where I cranked it up to 100 and recorded the results)
  9. Slow down there, Hoss, I can't understand what you're trying to say!
  10. By default: KEYBOARD: Y to accept, N to decline CONTROLLER: LB+A to accept, LB+B to decline
  11. He's actually inside the vehicle, he's just using a trainer or some other means to make himself invisible.
  12. I know I'm a bit late on this, but the car's template does not properly align at the grille and the boot deck (uses bonnet texture)
  13. It's a good start, however here are my opinions on the vehicle: - The lightbar's marquee board is not customizable. Not everyone is going to want to use the same caution/reduce speed/stop message (in fact, I personally use "Police/Caution/Yield" - this is also the reason I don't use Bugz's CVPI with the Vision SLR) and I feel it's a bit of a middle finger to me if I can't customize the message the way I like it. - The light textures have too much light washout in them. This causes it to appear pink and cyan instead of red and blue. - The rear deck lights should use an LED pattern, such as the three-head one in the same texture file as the Odyssey. Similar issue with the dashboard lights.

  15. Pop open OpenIV and tell me what the mipmaps number for that particular texture is, please?
  16. "It doesn't work" are the three worst words to use in tech support, as it tells the person trying to help you nothing useful at all. Can you answer these: What is the problem? What are you trying to do? How are you trying to accomplish what you are trying to do? What is it doing instead of what you're trying to do? What is happening instead? Are you getting any errors? Have you recently changed anything? Please post relevant logs, if they exist. I apologize if this is blunt, but I ran IRC tech support for a year and a half, and I can tell you from personal observation that supporters are much more likely to assist you if you answer the above questions (to the best of your knowledge, and without making assumptions) than if you state that something is not working without giving further details.
  17. It depends on a tonne of factors - weapon involved? How long was the kidnapping? What condition was the victim in? (Injuries, starving, etc.) Is the victim even alive? Off-topic: So you're more than willing to ask a company that sells your information (including what you put in the search box) what the sentencing for kidnapping is? Honestly, I'd run it through something that didn't track me (like DuckDuckGo) but a lot of information you can get about illicit activities (say you're writing a novel and want to know how much a kidnapper makes in a year) you can get off of HavocScope. I ran a check and didn't find anything about sentencing, though.
  18. The amount of butchering of the English Language I hear/read daily makes the study not surprise me at all. Let me just quote a Tweet a friend of mine made: I don't get what good abbreviating three-letter words does. I mean, yeah. You saved two keystrokes. Good job.

  20. Related: You will need to modify your LCPDFR.INI file and insert the API key under the relevant area.
  21. This ticket may be a duplicate of >#34995. I've been playing 1.0c lately, and it looks like the Robbery callout is causing LCPD:FR to crash. Here's the specific stack trace in the LCPDFR.LOG file: This is on a computer running Windows 7 Build 7601 x64. LCPDFR.LOG AdvancedHookInit.LOG AdvancedHook.LOG asilog.TXT ScriptHook.LOG ScriptHookDotNet.LOG
  22. Bit of both. I run 1.0C in single, though I'm thinking of going back to B. I'm running 0,95RC2R2 in multiplayer, and I can definitely confirm every word of what Ineseri's saying.
  23. Have you tried temporarily reverting to vanilla vehicles to see if the issue persists?
