Can a laptop run a big game like GTA V?
One thing you should probably know: "gaming laptop" is an oxymoron. Go for a desktop - your laptop's cooling system is most likely inadequate for your CPU/GPU to run GTA5 at recommended in as confined space as they put laptop parts in these days.

Callout "Traffic Backup"
I haven't had a chance to check for repeat instances, this is literally the first time I've had one that I myself didn't force on this copy of the game. Forcing it usually crashes - screwey models, y'see. Yes, that is indeed the police cruiser it spawned over to the right. Yes, he is driving off (the script failed when I arrived on scene, he got back in and drove off while I was reporting it.) LCPDFR sent me the callout; it was not forced.

Handling
There is no one handling line that will work for every single car in existence. >Kanyo's made many a handling line for many a car, though. Might give this thread a skim and see if'n you can't find one for your specific vehicle.

Taxi Bug... For Peds?
....which is for cars, not pedestrians. Back on topic, I found this thread earlier today with a tool that might be able to help with your ped diversity. Tried it earlier and I can confirm it works for vehicles; pedestrians I haven't paid much attention to but it implies it should work for those as well.

ELS v8.5 Info Panel Controls
You need to use the keys set in the INI file. Chng_Pat_PRML = 85 // U by default * Chng_Pat_SECL = 73 // I by default * Chng_Pat_WRNL = 79 // O by default *(Refer to owner's manual for more information on key codes)
-
ELS Question
IntMult_Crnas = 2.0Find that key in your ELS.INI and turn up the value. (Value shown in this post is my personal setting.)

ELS Question
If you're referring to the coronas (headlight/taillight flashers), you'll need to set them in your VCF. Sample: [ CORONAS ] Headlights = on, 0, white, white Taillights = on, 0, red, red IndicatorsF = on, 0, white, white IndicatorsB = off, 0, red, red Reverselights = on, 0, white, whiteIf you're referring to the light glow on the streets from your lightbar or the coronas, you can set how intense that is in your ELS.INI. Sample: [ ENV LIGHTING ] Range_PRML = 40 Inten_PRML = 5 Range_SECL = 4 Inten_SECL = 7 Range_WRNL = 4 Inten_WRNL = 7 Range_TKDN = 20 Inten_TKDN = 8 IntMult_Crnas = 2.0 EnvMult_Morning = 0.4 EnvMult_Evening = 0.6 EnvMult_Night = 1.0If you're referring to the glow around the lightbar's lights, you can set the intensity of it in your visualsettings.dat: # Other emissive lights car.defaultlight.emissive.on 600 If you're referring to how the glow around the lights is not a plus shape, that's an ENB.

Help about ELS
If your lights are too bright, lower your car.defaultlight.emissive.on value in your visualsettings.dat.

How can I merge 2 sirens by gtaivaud?
It is not possible to have multiple different sirens - you only get the standard wail/yelp tones plus POLICE_WARNING which is used for police cruisers as their piercer tone in vanilla game, and AMBULANCE_WARNING which is used as the piercer tone for ambulancesin vanilla.

GTA IV Intro Music
No, I've got one at like 4 minutes long. And you'd upload it like you'd any other mod - go to downloads then hit upload in the top-right corner of the content container.
-
Dash cam question
That's a post-production overlay they used IIRC. The only way to have one is create text on a new layer in your video editing program. Closest you're going to get with IVDashCam is by setting your dashcam style to Provida.
-
Dash cam question
No. If you wish to turn it off for a certain view you'll need to do it manually.
-
Dash cam question
Alt-D when you're not using it. For more information, read the readme.

Correct order to install mods in?
SMPA60 := car extra spawn error. The game remembers which extras your car has when saving them at a safehouse - Let's say you have a Hakumai with a spoiler and foglights. When the game loads, it loads that Hakumai with the spoiler and foglights. If you mod that Hakumai, the game doesn't know where the spotlights or the spoiler go, so ultimately crashes. This can ALSO occur with ELS, which - you guessed it! - uses extras for lighting.

Lit laptop?
This confused me for a minute. IIRC they're mapped like emergency lights in that they use a lightsemissive texture, which illuminates while the vehicle is running, but it's not mapped to an extra or anything - IANAM.

ELS Lights Floating
Model issue; nag the mod-author.

Black Dots All Over
Not a clue, when I used the timecyc mix I'd used prior, it was less "finding out what causes this so I can fix it", more "find out which file was goofing up so I can replace it"
-
Black Dots All Over
It's his timecyc.dat file he included.
-
Correct order to install mods in?
I don't think order much matters - just ensure you install LCPDFR after ELS. And GTA4 is inherently unstable, the more you add to it the more likely it is to crash. ELS is a tad known for the infamous SMPA60, though.

How to get this kind of look?
He's using an ENB. I went to a random point in the video and he mentioned Polecat's ENB, so that might be the one he's using. Also: Try not to use shortlinks here, they embed automatically if you use a normal link.
