I can confirm it is NOT the police helper mod, unfortunate it has happened to me before police helper was around, i also never did find the cause of it. Because pigeons were basket ball hoops lol

However the only way to sort it is a fresh install of the game.

Hmm this is happening to me also I get some train wagons instead of seagulls (EFLC) & the car washing mashing instead of something else. I'm not sure what is causing it but maybe it could be Spark IV or somewhat ?_?

 

 

Yeah, on my other computer I've been getting basketball hoops for pigeons and car washes all over the place. But on this computer, nothings wrong and I have all the same scripts so it's not scripts causing it. Probably is SparkIV.

This is caused by your save file getting corrupted. I had the same issues and restarting a new game (from the begining) fixed it.

Ah, I was having that issues also. I just installed a new version of a visual tweak and deleted my saves. I'll check around and hopefully it'll be fixed.

100% saved games will work as long as you use the other .dll not dsound.dll. I found that it was usually do to character issues when saved (ie using a different character than Niko when saving)

Hello - Silly question - I just installed PoliceHelper 1.1.0a. I noticed in the Manual under the installation section it has a notice for EFLC users to remove/rename paths.img file in EFLC/TBoGT/pc/data/cdimages/ or EFLC/TLaD/pc/data/cdimages/ directory in order to make the bait car hideout option work. Do I actually remove the paths.img file or just renameit? or does it matter? I just want to make sure I am doing the correct option, Thanks!

You can change extensions or just move these files to some backup folder. In latest version there is a bug that forces drive to hideout almost every time. I'll fix that soon. Also there will be some surprises in bait car section in the next versiin.

Another thought, is there a chance of random acts of someone stealing a car? I mean, it is Grand Theft Auto. 

There is already :) Sometimes they will get into parked cars (car alarms are big clue here) or jack people out of their cars which can be hard to notice.

okay so i have installed an enb and police helper shows up but not my mouse? and when i turn on that setting it doesnt show up at all

Using GTA IV original and whenever I do a bait car it drives to the hideout. I've had this since I upgraded from 0.9 to 1.10a and I'm using the 1.7.1.7 scripthook. Haven't had this problem before. Any fix or will it just have to be fixed in the next version? Not sure if it happens in 1.0b but if it doesn't I might just use that instead.

That setting is used ONLY when PoliceHelper is not visible. Change it back to 0. Try to change your mouse sensitivity setting. If that won't help I'm afraid that nothing is. Some ENBs have problems with mods that use forms. And PoliceHelper is a form just like LCPD:FR police computer which I guess doesn't work for you neither.

Finally! Finally someone noticed it :D That is a bug and will be fixed in 1.2. To compensate that inconvenience bait car will have more scenarios and more hide outs available. I had absolutely crazy pursuits with the new version. It should be available next weekend. I hope to send test version to testers tomorrow. I recommend to stay with current version till then.
