Forgot to ask, does RDE work with 0.4?

Will there be a topic/thread that simply lists the mods / calloutpacks etc that definately work fine from testing? At the moment i havent added any mods at all as i am nervous of breaking it but i miss them a lot. I just kind of hoping for well tested ones that are reliable. I have make a back up of my GTA game folder but its still a pin to have to start again when it all goes wrong lol.

hahaha thanks. its just that so far most people are listing mods that dont work, the issues and problems with them. I am guessing at this early stage very few mods reliably work. I just need to wait and be patient 🙂

Unfortunately the majority of plugins probably won't work in 0.4 right away. Give it a week or two max and I think we'll be set again.

 

Also, currently trying out Albo's plugins since he updated Common. I know he said it wasn't a fix for everything, but I'm gonna see just how far I can get without a crash.

 

Albo's plugins are still broken as far as 0.4 goes. 😞

Stop the Ped potentially has some issues arising after all, but I'm testing further. 

 

I did the prisoner transport call-out from Albo's updated Assorted call-out pack, took the suspect to the jail, used STP function to have partner take suspect inside, and crashed on infinite loading. Obviously a lot of variables here, so I'm going to keep testing but thought I'd give a heads up 

thats so cool. the 0.4 is lacking i feel in the details like no coroner or vehicle recovery and all the important little immersive stuff that Stop The Ped does as well as Ultimate backup. They are almost vital for callout back and this new immersive ambient events and scenarios

I would maybe point to Albo's plugin there. I haven't used STP to make my partner do anything, but I have done several transports and the whatnot and all is fine. Let's keep testing it though.

 

@Fox7; It's not that 0.4 is lacking, it's still brand new. Even in 0.3 those were plugins made after the initial release.

true true and i am 100% behind 0.4. i wouldnt go back to 0.3 for anything. I am with 0.4 to stay hehe. just excited but aching for all that amazing detail and little things that makes patrolling just incredibly fun, immersive and addictive and full!

I also just tried skin control because I didn't like the look of my character created in LSPDFR,  and it worked too.

Update: you're right, it was caused by the call-out. Just arrested a ped without a call out, used the partner option at the jail and it worked fine

if you are still having the problem, then press 4f and type in "LoadPlugin" (space) and press tab, that should load EUP menu up correctly (if you installed it right)

for me it still crashes when i go and get into a pursuit from the callout

 

I see that Search Warrant is already listed as working.  Darkmyre believes his current list of mods are compatible, however I just tried Patrol Toolkit and I get a crash.  Has anyone else tried this one?

How do you get ELS to work. Whenever I try to press any of the key binds nothing happens aside from J toggles the sirens
