I have a question for the masses, when you create custom agencies are you going to go lore based first or reality based first and if reality based, where are you going to use?

I personally will mix the already existing lore with my own for copyright and story extension

I will write the full extension of this idea on my page just a little after its release

Lore-friendly based on RL. So LSPD/LSSD based on LAPD/LASD, etc.

My custom agency’s are going to be Based on RPD, and greater wake county. Especially the patrol routes that are worked.  Hoping to divide greater Los Santos into 5-6 districts with some areas having their own police department. 

 

Agencys I will setup are LS Police, LS county sheriff, with heavy focus on Fixing State Police/SHP AND FBI. 

Planning on setting up a drug squad, and SRT as well as Police for other towns, doing away with BSCO and giving the other towns dedicated police and letting State police/SHP handle the rest. 

 

I will be using realistic vehicles and realistic uniforms (specifically WCSO car, RPD car,  and RPD uniforms, I hate LSPDs uniforms) and also some other cars for other areas (Any SHP, State Police, SRT, drug squad, other police derpatments, cars uniforms that I find cool)

Personally I'm going to base all of my agencies on reality, I'm bout to turn San Andreas into regions of NC periodically and I'm about to do my best to model and texture realistic vehicles for different area of NC .

So I have a question that maybe someone in this thread can answer that has gone through an LSPDFR Update. 

 

Do I have to delete every plugin and wait for then to update for the new LSPDFR or how does that work? I'd rather ask now than when 0.4 releases and I'm stuck.

Question - any scripts that require LSPDFR won't work for 0.4 and have to be re-relaesed like Traffic Policer, Police Smart Radio etc?

It's best to backup your plugins and go with a fresh install of GTA V install LSPDFR and test one plugin at a time.

bruh like who even gonna need some plugins when 0.4 is just released like theres more than enough features to fw

There is a lot of features that we do not know about, For example, EUP is releasing a new version around the same time. LSPDFR has been in communication with other scripters as well. (At least I thought?) 

 

So hopefully we will not need as many plugins and will have a lot of the features built in (Breathalizer, Search vehicles, a much better computer, better court cases, etc) or there will be plugins soon available that will be optimized for the new 0.4. I strongly doubt LSPDFR related plugins will work with the new version. 

All I want in the 0.4 update is a built in feature where it tells you about a ped as you approach the window like in "Traffic Policer." I really hope I don't have to install individual mods for such a needed simple feature. 

I hope that the plugin "cop holster" works correctly in the 0.4. Although it would be great if version 0.4 already had it integrated.
