About a year ago, we announced the development of LSPDFR 0.4.  We said it was big, and we said it was different, but I honestly don't think any of us quite imagined just how big and different it would turn out to be, nor how much of a challenge it would be to take the concepts and ideas that we had and turn them into reality.
 
Still, here we are.  Thousands of changes later, we're here.  Everyone on the team is delighted to announce the first public release of LSPDFR 0.4, available now.
 
LSPDFR 0.4 brings sweeping changes which have been implemented over a number of years, so much so that we're not able to provide full release notes.  Instead, we've put together a number of resources, new to LSPDFR 0.4, including a 'wiki' and a collection of more in-depth guides.
 
Note as well that because of this - the sheer number of things that have changed - there will  be issues.  We've put over two months into testing 0.4, and we've made hundreds of fixes in this time.  Still, there's undoubtedly going to be things that we've missed, or things that simply can't be tested in a controlled environment.  This is a big release, and we wanted to do right by all of you by getting it out as soon as we can.
 
With that being said, I'll shut up now and let the mod speak for itself.

Note that we strongly recommend installing LSPDFR 0.4 for the first time on a clean copy of Grand Theft Auto V with no other mods or plugins. 

Latoya Hightower, is a police agent of the LSPD, daughter of police parents (Moses Hightower and Laverne Hooks). With several years of experience as a police officer, she feels happy patrolling the streets of Los Santos (although her large stature inherited from her father prevents her from being comfortable in the patrol car). His childish voice contrasts with his height.
She is a lover of firearms and does not lose the opportunity to draw his reglamentary gun. Something that has brought several administrative problems. Hates tassers and loves 9mm.
Of African descent, she recognizes that she enjoys intimidating white-skinned delinquents. - "An act of universal justice" - She often says.

While I'm waiting for the 0.4, I've thought about creating a background for one of my new characters.

We need to do something while we wait for LSPDFR 0.4 update, so I suggest the following:
[A Continuing and Dynamic Story]
Each person contributes a sentence at a time to the developing story, you may not post within 15 minutes of your last contribution (to keep other people involved as well and to keep too many people from posting at once.) The sentence can't end the story, and must somehow be related to LSPDFR (no "Suddenly, joe teleported to Africa and was eaten by a Lion.") Keep it fun and interesting, and leave the end of your sentence open so that it can go in many directions. Quote the last sentence someone else posted and post yours underneath it. Depends on what you want. Natural Vision Remastered looks great around Los Santos but not so great in Blaine County. VisualV looks phenomenal in Blaine County, but it lacks a bit when it comes to realistic vegetation within Los Santos. Both will cost you around 5 fps average compared to vanilla GTA V. I'm currently using both as a combo, although NVR pretty much overrides everything that comes with VisualV. Both are great, it just depends on what you prefer. 

I think that on 02/19/19 it would be a beauty date to publish the 0.4 XD

I think I've made my opinions pretty clear on this topic, I don't understand why people are complaining, if it were halfway through march without any word I'd have a better time understanding, but as we're only just over halfway through February I'm personally not worried at all, the team will release it when they deem its ready, all you have to do is look around every now and then to see someone from the team on every night either reading posts or readying things in the background. Because we don't see the progress doesn't mean it's not being made, they just want to see their hard work finalised before releasing it for use and the best motivation we can give is to respectfully wait rather than complain that it isn't out before the months even up.

Don't make me take this up a notch..
