Do you know some great but underrated and not well known mods/scripts for GTA V, whether it be for LSPDFR or not, just game world. I wanted to share with you two great additions. One is called GTA V Remastered: https://www.gta5-mods.com/maps/grand-theft-auto-v-remastered-add-on
I think it's pretty underrated especially for how awesome it is. It literally give a new life to GTA V map. It places A LOT of objects (props) around the city and Los Santos County, but unlike all the other mods which try to do that (for example extended forests mods for Blaine County), this one doesn't commit two big mistakes these mods commonly do: It doesn't put the same objects one next to another, where they clearly look copy-pasted (this is especially visible with trees) and it doesn't put any props randomly, just so that there seems to be more things in the map, it actually feels like a R* employee (or many of them) actually made that mod, because it feels so lore-friendly and exactly how R* would do it. And it feels like LS was meant to look this way, especially with how many trees were cut from the beta version. It is truly a perfect mod for what it does and with L.A. Roads and L.A. Vegetation (which is yet another underrated mod - https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/l-a-vegetation-v3-0) it looks mind blowingly. Too bad we don;'t have anything like this for entire Blaine County (here is the map of this mod https://img.gta5-mods.com/q95/images/grand-theft-auto-v-remastered-add-on/224fa8-Patreon Exclusive content2.jpg).
There is a problem, this mod wasn't updated in a while and doesn't have a proper gameconfig file. But no worries, I packed this mod myself with a proper gameconfig file so that this mod works for you (AND it has the patreon exclusive content too): MEGA link.

The second mod I wanted to put the spotlight on is Low Priority Prop Restore mod. Basically R* messed up and any props that have certain particle effects properties and are set as "low priority" props do not appear in the game at all. This mod basically changes all of that and ALL props that are meant to appear in the game do appear. You can find it here: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/low-priority-prop-restore
There is also another version of this mod made by another guy but THIS ONE is easier to install and works the same (actually the other one didn;t work for me at all and I can confirm that THIS ONE works 100%). To see what the differences are watch this video: https://youtu.be/St7rOk5yldY?t=66 and if you want to read more about said problem from R* part, you can do so by checking out this link: https://gtaforums.com/topic/919609-relv-v-proprestore/ (it's also from the makers of the OTHER mod but it's still the same thing and it applies to the mod I linked up here).

Am I the only one already let down by this update? I feel like even though 0.3.1 was much more lacking in content, it was more polished and ready to release than 0.4. All this hype for nothing IMO. The game is unplayable at moments, the fps go below 30 while normally my game works perfectly 60fps+ without mods. Even on my older PC, 0.3.1 worked flawlessly at 30fps with TONS of mods. I don't have ANY mods yet except for LSPDFR. It's either stuttering or the game goes below 30 fps. Next, the callouts are poor as hell. I accepted one callout and it was a shot bulgarly and nothing happened, two guys ran out of the store and that's it. Only one car per house. Only one house. Mod is still bare bones without any other mods, which are necessary. Well, I'll be going back to 0.3 then, I am not a fan of extreme customization that 0.4 is supposed to give us anyways (I don't care about names of police stations etc., I am fine with vanilla world thist way). It's a big let down for me but really I personally wasn't as hyped as most people here were.

Oh and yes, it's a clean install.

You can try a mod like https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/character-swap. It won't be without side effects (getting story calls etc.) but it should allow you to play stuff like golf.

If I'm reading what you're saying/asking correctly, no you won't get banned in singleplayer for mods. Rockstar said they don't care about SP mods it's only when they're used in MP/Online mode.

Hi. I have my GTAV modded with a lot of mods that would normally break the single player game but I wanted to play GTAV story mode once again. I have a steam version. Can I some way have both Vanilla game folder and LSPDFR/mods game folder? I was thinking about changing my game's folder from the default Grand Theft Auto V to "Grand Theft Auto V LSPDFR", then opening up the STEAM and maybe the game will download as a vanilla version and I will just have to switch the folders' names every time I want to play something else? I don't want to try it because I am scared that steam will mess up my modded game somehow.

Yes. That was also said for IV. And for SA.

But knowing R* they will definatelly make it even better with each game (as that was the case previously).

If you have the Traffic Policer mod, you can set how close/far away from your car that the doors automatically lock/unlock in it's ini file.

The AI stealing your car is GTA's shitty and down right annoying way of cleaning the scene.  For example, if your traffic stop is blocking traffic, GTA will send in a cleaning service, aka the AI to steal your car.  Sadly, nothing can be done except to try and move traffic stops off the road.  There are some mods out there that will lock your car.

You could make a specific vehicle not get dirty at all by editing the vehicles.meta.

Although I very much agree that this would be nice. My vehicle shouldn’t get completely dirty from driving 50 down a clean highway.

Yeah I hate it how it makes a brand new car look like it's from 90s :/ (paint-job wise). Thanks for the tip, it's actually very helpful.

Zip file too large to upload direct to site so I've uploaded to drive. IDK if that's allowed please don't ban me if it's not allowed, just trying to help these fellows out.

Really? Meh, 2 year later (almost) and the first biggest announcement is... something we already had for years with EUP (and some people lik to play with custom models anyways). I'll be waiting for more news because this mod needs many more updates, other than what was presented at this time. Other than that I see no point in updating right now LOL.

LSPDFR is no fun because it takes a ton of mods to make it fun. Maintaining them through updates is rough. There are a lot of programs and helpers from the community that lessen the pain but it is still monumental to setup for some. I'm all for more included features into LSDPFR so there are less mods needed.
