The third edition of our monthly update packs quite the punch.  In October, we've been lucky to see some big developments throughout the community, starting with the huge update to the Emergency Uniforms Pack.  Not only this, but we've also seen some amazing new vehicle modifications including a police cruiser with funky new animations - working window wipers anyone?!

 

Emergency Uniforms Pack by @Alex_Ashfold

For those unfamiliar, EUP is a set of character and clothing components that can be used with the GTA Online multiplayer character models.  With EUP, you can essentially create your own police officer for LSPDFR, with much of the same customisation ability that GTA Online offers when creating your Online Character.  

 

 

With the latest edition of EUP, you'll enjoy a massive amount of new police gear to kit up your characters with.  There's some really neat stuff in this modification - I'm sure it'll be exciting to see what comes next.

 

 

Better EMS by @PNWParksFan

After the shocking discovery that paramedics in Los Santos are somehow less useful than their counterparts in Liberty City who, to their credit, would actually attempt to save the lives of the people that they had run over (sometimes anyway), @PNWParksFan has clearly been in search of a cure, and what better than the latest update to Better EMS which was released earlier this month.

 

 

Included with the new version of Better EMS are enhancements to driving intelligence, better response times and a whole bunch of backend tweaks and API additions.  If you're looking for a more in-depth Fire or EMS experience within LSPDFR, this is definitely the plugin for you.

 

 

Animated Police Cruiser by @majorpaine2015

Finally, something which you might not have noticed.  This is a quirky vehicle modification that also includes a number of animated features.  Included are both working (and controllable) windscreen wipers and windows themselves.  

 

 

Yep, let us prepare for the incoming flood of rain-soaked patrols!  It's happening.

The police cruiser with the windshield wipers is creative, it'd be nice to see more vehicles support that. Although, you'd think R* would've included windshield wipers in the first place (since Mafia II & III have them).

That is really creative.  I'm actually surprised I hadn't seen this mod before.  It seems Rockstar purposely left out a few things they deemed as "not fun".  Apparently they don't understand the role play aspect.

Content Editor (which @Harper currently is). You'd be given a red name (or as Sam calls it, authorative pink), given a few extra permissions that allow you post post official articles on the front page, and be able to feature downloads.

Thanks for the shoutout for Better EMS! A couple additional fun features added in the new version are that the medics actually talk now instead of being stoically silent, and they'll even patch up the player if you manage to get yourself injured! You know, for the folks who don't play with godmode on all the time and aren't wimps 

I'm glad so many people have enjoyed this mod and look forward to sharing more mods with the community in the future.

You really did a wonderful job with BetterEMS!  It's a must have mod.  Thanks for for the hard work with it!

Some really cool mods guys! I especially can't wait to try out the windshield wipers mod! It will make rainy patrols that much more fun and realistic!!!!

i will also give shout out to the Better EMS script. it was just what we needed and i am keen to try the windshield wiper thing. the more realistic the better.

When can we actually expect a new LSPDFR version with bug fixes and maybe new features? There weren't any changes made since 2015, is the project still under development/active?

It's still under development, but very slowly due to the devs having other projects, studies, work, and so on. More information will be given once it's actually there to give.
