I'm back for a short while and, believe me, the workshop is busy. 
As per a friend's request, I've released an unmarked version of the Brute Pony van. It's fully mapped as its cousin (so, possible slicktop? you decide!), and as a satirical touch I added an optional Weazel News livery for anyone interested. The old van's driver misplacement problem has also been fixed with a proper vehicles.meta update. 

But, a picture says more than a thousand words, so see for yourselves:

I've removed texture and mapping resources from the pack to significantly reduce download size. Both these optional files as well as the new unmarked model have been added as separate downloads on the same page. In the coming few days I will seek to release a version with a halogen rotator bar for the historical authenticity enthusiast. Stay tuned!

 

 

What's next? I've already begun work on the Vapid Radius police vehicle. The base model is complete and tested, and looks marvelous, but I've yet to map it, which is arguably the most time consuming part of default-style police car mods. I hope to release it before the week is over.

The Brute Pony is now also available in halogen rotator lightbar configuration - no more LEDs for your authentic retro experience.

For future projects, would you consider using your magic touch to make proper police versions of the Mesa and Dominator? I know there's a police Mesa somewhere but it's based on the jacked Merryweather version whereas the regular version would be a better fit, and there is a Dominator but it stopped getting updated before it could be properly finished.

Loving the new models man. I've been looking to go lore and ditch the real cars and now I finally have a reason to. Going on a download spree to convert back to vanilla cars now. I'm also going to bookmark your mod page for easy access to all your models.

 

Any chance we can have the Gallivanter Baller LE from the Excecutives and Criminals DLC as a police SUV? Possibly with the side trim in body paint color instead of Carbon fiber?

I love the Baller for its close resemblance to a ford Explorer even though its modeled after the Range Rover.

lol its the one I use online. The LWB is longer and the one with chrome looks silly when painted all black.

Oh wow you made the Oracle!! Officially one of my favourite cars in the game haha. I'm just not one for all the silly supercars everywhere in Online especially. I tend to stick to more "realistic to own" cars.

As a UK resident I've always dreamed of someone making the Oracle into an in-game car because it's like the police BMWs that are used here. Someone just needs to make a UK police style skin that still says Los Santos for it now!

 

I love all the lore friendly cars you make and I implore you to keep going. And definitely explore the British police's cars more. Like the standard Ubermacht Oracle (as BMW. I like the Oracle more than the Oracle XS as it's got more curves), and Obey Tailgater (Audi). Even the Benefactor Schafter V12 looks kinda like the BMWs used by the police.

Any chance you could do a police Ingot? May sound weird, but I think it would be great as a retro-style police car just like your Solair.

I've got some good news / bad news depending on your perspective. I'm actually part of the RDE team now and work there is plenty to keep me occupied for now, which means I won't be releasing new models for some time. However, I'm sure my effort is better channeled into these team projects which will eventually produce amazing content that I could never compete with on my own.

I think they are pretty decent. 

Especially the LSPD livery with the stripes at the back is nice! :D

Many thanks! I've added that to all regular patrol style vehicles in my game and for a subtle addition, it looks really good.
