AI:Respond
Could be interesting! I like seeing the list of units responding. I don't know if it's an Ultimate Backup mod feature, or a vanilla LSPDFR feature but Code 3 backup will already respond to the location of your map blip with one of those, by the way!

WoutersCalloutsV
Hello! Some great callouts and ideas here. Just wanted to report to you this issue I had where the Fleeing Suspect callout seems to spawn inside a building or under the map, so I can't find the officer to progress the callout and just have to Force End it. I attached some screenshots of the location.

Suspects don't shoot their guns
This thread was originally not actually referring to the new (now fixed) bug where suspects aimed their guns but didn't shoot. It was referring to a change made in older versions which removed the feature where suspects would shoot at you from their cars whilst driving. I believe that the shooting whilst fleeing mechanic has since been reimplemented as I've since had people shoot at me on traffic stops. But I've not seen the old "shooting from a van whilst fleeing" behavior since much older versions of LSPDFR so either that was never re-added or plugin devs aren't using it.

More dramatic Pullovers
I'd definitely recommend playing with the Deadly Weapons mod and the Watch Your Death mod. After a bit of tweaking of AI resistance values I had an incredibly immersive, albeit rather "traumatizing" encounter recently where I pulled over a vehicle on the highway as SAHP for expired registration and as I approached the car the guy got out and double tapped me before I could draw my gun! Due to the mods above I was killed instantly and got to watch in shock and horror as my officer collapsed beside his car and the perp came over and shot my body twice again!! The perp then jumped back into his car and drove away at speed, leaving me dead on the side of the highway. Suffice to say, I was pretty shocked. It was a sobering moment even in a video game and I've definitely seen at least one real-life dashcam clip of this happening in real life as well. I will be VERY cautious on my traffic stops in future now. I actually have a video of the encounter I can add if anyone is interested.

LSPDFR 0.4.9 - Now Available!
Sounds great! Hopefully the research stuff doesn't just demonstrate how many players will gleefully gun people down because it's a video game. I'm curious how the video game aspect of it will relate to real life law enforcement, since LSPDFR is not exactly in the "simulator" category for Police work despite the depth of systems. I'd love more detail on the new pursuit "Investigation" state. I'm not sure how this works from your explanation? Is it saying you can call a "pursuit" on a ped who isn't already actively fleeing, and then NPC cops will arrive Code 2 or 3 as usual, but won't chase or taze the ped unless they actively fight or flee, they'll just approach and arrest calmly?

UltimateBackup+ (adds EUP uniforms to Ultimate Backup)
Guys, this mod is now out of date if you use the latest EUP release. Other, up to date mods which do the same as this one are available if you go look. That said, I would love this version to update because I think it makes the best use of the CustomBackup xml and is simple to edit.

NPC Emergency Lights Frozen & Turn Off When I Turn Mine Off
I have an odd issue, that isn't caused by DLS or ELS because they're not even in use or loaded when this happens, even though I have it installed, where NPC backup cars will approach with their lights flashing but then their lights suddenly go out or enter a frozen "steady burn" looking thing when they get close to me. I have tested it, and it only happens when I have a car of my own which I've sat in and I am On-Duty in LSPDFR. If I have no car and stand around, the NPC lights work fine, but if I spawn a car and sit in it, then their lights all go out suddenly. You can see it in action on these clips: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1GG-2RHg05qkTHnELrPwGVVf7stCcZrTA?usp=sharing The responding backup have their lights flashing until they get near, then the lights freeze. If I turn my lights off, then theirs all go off as well. Any ideas? Thanks!

DeLuca's County Callouts
I also have the same crashing issue as the above user, and I do have RageNativeUI installed though which is odd. RagePluginHook.log Just did some further testing, including making sure I had the latest RagenativeUI installed and it seems to be working now? I thought I was on the latest version, but perhaps I wasn't.

Yeah I came to also report the Code 4 on too many callouts when I arrive. On the latest versions of everything, idk if it's a new bug potentially?

EUP Backup Configurations [9.3]
What were the "miscellaneous settings" you fixed in version 3.0? I'd already made personal edits to the previous xml version, so just wondering if there's anything new I need to copy over to that to update without losing my changes. I already copied over the new Merryweather addition in Special Units. (Thanks for the update as well!)

SirenSetting Limit Adjuster
This plugin was a game changer when it was released, finally solving the growing issue of overlapping carcols and conflicting siren IDs as more and more add-on emergency vehicles are released. However, as of February this mod is now outdated and non-functioning, leaving an "error applying hook" message when activated. Here's to hoping that the author finds time to update it! This mod is basically essential nowadays.

UltimateBackup+ (adds EUP uniforms to Ultimate Backup)
That's great news, but I would have thought that 8.2 and 1.4 changed some numbers and added new things? So there may be some updates needed still?

Agreed with above, are there any plans to update this for the new EUP updates? Your XML is basically an essential mod for me nowadays 😁

StopThePed Extended Items & Dialogue (WIP)
Sounds good! As long as the red search items don't include anything overly absurd because those things have a habit of popping up regularly! Like, not everyone we stop should have an IED or even a gun really. Also, what changes did you make in the ini? 🙂

Typical Callouts
Heyo! First of all, great ideas for callouts! I'm however getting a consistent crash when I accept the Alarm Trip callout? It will crash LSPDFR every time.

Chill Callouts
Yeah just to add to what others are saying. I'm been crashing consistently since updating and the Rage log states it's because Chill Callouts is looking for Traffic Policier as a dependency. Whether this is a mistake or not, it's disappointing that suddenly an outdated mod is a requirement, and not even a requirement that's listed in the Required Plugins section of the description. I've removed Chill Callouts until this is fixed.

Suspects don't shoot their guns
I'd certainly be keen for more information on this from someone in the know. The fleeing suspects in vehicles used to sometimes shoot back at you, and that was an engaging mechanic to play. But I think since the last major update they don't shoot anymore, they just point their guns. Did the devs disable this to stop the AI sniping people? They did have insane accuracy but this could be tempered with Accuracy scripts. And now that LSPDFR has the Tracking pursuit functionality I think there's a large gameplay element missing now. I'd love the option to re-enable pursuit shooting if it exists.

UltimateBackup+ (adds EUP uniforms to Ultimate Backup)
I swapped the National Guard response from a Crusader with one passenger to a Barracks with 7 passengers and I can't tell you how satisfying it was to see that truck pull up and a whole squad of soldier hop out of the back! Saving this one for the Armored Bank Heist callout 👌

UltimateBackup+ (adds EUP uniforms to Ultimate Backup)
This is amazing work! I'd started doing this myself for my own use, and it took me hours to do just the LSPD! So you're my hero for doing all of it. In my personal customregions XML I've also added Del Perro, Rockford Hills, Sandy Shores, Paleto Bay and ULSA configs too (because how many agencies and cars can you cram onto an island, right?) but I've not managed to set-up EUP configs for them. Sandy Shores, Paleto, and ULSA are all unofficial (though high-quality) EUP addons made by community members. But Del Perro and Rockford Hills are both included in EUP by default. Therefore, I'm wondering if you'd consider adding these two to your XML config in the future? They can use LSPD cars for if people don't have car packs installed. Thanks!

Deadly Weapons
What's not working for you? It can act a bit strange for me, in that when I die I have to quickly revive or it'll bug out. And sometimes I transform into Micheal after reviving myself. So yeah it isn't perfect but it does "work" mostly as it should. I can still watch my death and the aftermath.

Deadly Weapons
I'm going to assume that your script will be incompatible with the https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/accuracy-fix Accuracy Fix script, because they both edit Ped accuracy? I can't play without the Accuracy Fix because otherwise the AI are crazy accurate, but if your edit does the same thing then I'll happily switch to yours since yours is newer and more likely to be updated!

Deadly Weapons
Use this one! You can edit the weapon values yourself to make knives do damage again so that they're still dangerous to you. I personally also use the less-lethal shotgun edit too. https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/realistic-melee

Deadly Weapons
This is a great idea! I've experimented using other people's "ragdoll when shot" mods or similar, but many are super outdated so this is very very welcome. I knew straight away that I wouldn't like the auto-backup feature, so I'm glad to hear it's being made optional ASAP. During my playtesting just now, at one point the backup was called twice in one shootout, perhaps because I switched weapons? However, I have to commend you for the "One-shot kill" potential here. I took a call to find a wanted individual, and like an idiot I pulled my car up in front of them when I found them. Before I even got out of the car the felon shot me once and killed me!! I was wearing armour but I think it was a headshot. It was very realistic and a real eye-opener. I should have approached on foot from behind with my gun out so I could get the drop! This mod also works very well with the mod "Watch Your Death" because you get time to savor your death and reflect haha. And you can carry on without needing to respawn too.
