is there a chance we could live in other houses next lspdfr update?
Just a thought, but have you guys considered having houses use the same system as stations (XML files)? This way, instead of everyone requesting that one specific house they want, they could just add their own in the file with custom name, coordinates for the entry point, the car save point, and the name of the interior to which they should be teleported (along with a handy reference list of available interiors).

[REL] Realism Dispatch Enhanced 3.1.1
I vaguely remember seeing some Del Perro, Rockford Hills and Davis/West Vinewood-specific LSSD units in Yard1's gallery a while ago. They might have been for personal use and not part of a future RDE release though... Technically, the La Mesa/Cypress Flats area could also have its own department based on the Vernon, CA police (the water tower in La Mesa is based on Vernon's) But then again, that would leave very few areas on the map for the LSPD to spawn...

Not sure about the coronas thing - I don't think it's a bug - but I'm pretty sure the non-flashing red lights are there by design, this is based on the real-life California law that states that emergency vehicles must have a steadily lit red light.

They wouldn't do that. It's already been announced and a few trailers are out, they just need to step up their hype game - which they probably will in the coming weeks/months, unless there have been some delays and the game is pushed back, which wouldn't be surprising because Rockstar. What I would expect though is a clear focus on multiplayer from the start, maybe with a much shorter story mode that what we would normally expect, and more insistent calls to join the online component. There could be online/co-op missions intertwined in story mode (Ubi style) or they could just reduce the range of things that can be done once you've completed the story (V is already a good example of that). Hold on to your money and skip the preorder - wait until the reviews are out...

Feroci
I always saw the Feroci as a japanese car rebranded by an american brand on the US market, kinda like Dodge and Eagle were selling rebadged Mitsubishis in the 80s-90s - so the Feroci might secretly be a Maibatsu, who knows...

[REL] Realism Dispatch Enhanced 3.1.1
So the ScriptHook update came out and I tried launching the game with a clean mods folder and a fresh RDE install, but no dice. The game just gets stuck in infinite loading mode - never seen that happen with RDE before. Anyone else experiencing this issue? If so, can we hope for a hotfix or do we have to wait until the next release of RDE? Not that I mind waiting a few months (or as long as it takes) for new content, but I really wish the current version would be supported/fixed until the next release is out, otherwise each RDE version is basically playable for 2 or 3 weeks before R* releases another one of their bimonthly garbage updates and it becomes indefinitely unplayable until the next version.

New GTA update coming 29th August
If anyone's interested, I just took a peek at the new vehicles with Open IV. Coming soon to your single player game near you once RPH and/or SHV + your favorite trainer have been updated: Alpha 1Z: WW2-style fighter, likely based on the Supermarine Spitfire Bombushka: Medium-size 50s-60s soviet cargo plane (or bomber), loosely based on the Antonov AN-12 Coil Cyclone: Sports car, not sure based on what exactly - maybe a Zenvo ST1 Havok: Single-seat helicopter, likely based on the Mosquito XE Howard: WW2-style single-seater, although its features seem a little exaggerated, suggesting it may be a stunt plane. Not sure what's the real-life equivalent. Hunter: This one needs no introduction. AH-64 Apache helicopter, but with the tail of a RAH-66 Comanche... pretty cool concept. Microlight: The ultralight aircraft seen prominently in the trailers. Mogul: WW2-style small bomber with a bubble turret. Loosely based on the Lockheed Hudson. Molotok: Cold war era soviet fighter, based on the Mig-15 Nokota: WW2-style fighter, clearly based on the P-51 Mustang - not sure why they didn't call it the Rustler. Pyro: Twin-seater jet with a double tail - not sure what it's based on, but it looks like one of those late-WW2 german designs that never saw the light of day. Dewbauchee Rapid GT (3 or "classic"): 70s sports car, based on the 1970s-1980s Aston Martin V8 Vantage Vapid Retinue: 70s compact rally car, based on a 1970s Ford Escort Mk1 Rogue : Twin-seater, single prop military trainer aircraft, loosely based on the Diamond DART 450 - it appears to have a Zancudo livery. Seabreeze: Twin-seater plane with a tail-mounted prop. Looks exotic, I'm not sure if it's based on something real. Starling: Late WW2 german concept plane, based on the Messerschmitt Comet Tula: That weird short WW2-style cargo plane with 4 props and supposedly VTOL capabilities seen in the trailers... Vigilante: Heavily based on the 1989 Batmobile, but with the Tumbler Batmobile's rear end. No, I'm not kidding. And yes, it has a friggin jet turbine. Grotti Visione: Exotic supercar based on the Ferrari Xezri concept.

Ditto. Especially after last June, you never know when/if they'll roll out the dreaded "encrypt everything" update.

[REL] Realism Dispatch Enhanced 3.1.1
Oh? Interesting... The V Premier seems kinda small to pass for an Impala (unless it underwent a major body overhaul), but I'll wait to see it... After all, the Gresley being used as a stand-in for the Ford Explorer Interceptor despite clearly being based on a Durango worked out surprisingly well. Oh man, you really got me excited here! Can't wait to see what you've got in store for the SAHP. I'd be especially thrilled to see the Uranus standing in for this classic: https://image.adam.automotive.com/f/9432403/mump_0710_14_z+1986_CHP_SSP_ford_mustang+.jpg

Is that the GTA V Premier (the Chevy Cobalt-like compact sedan) or the IV Pack/Max Payne Premier (90s Chevy Caprice)? Or did you mean another model (Fugitive, maybe)?

RDE is not yet compatible with the latest GTA V update. You'll have to wait for a hotfix or new version, whichever comes first.

Submarines chase you if you are underwater (which, frankly, is a little weird). On the surface, you get chased by boats.

[REL] Realism Dispatch Enhanced 3.1.1
I'll be patiently waiting for the next update then. Reverting to a previous version didn't work, everything that used to work just fine just crashes now. Last time I'm ever buying any games from Rockstar.

[REL] Realism Dispatch Enhanced 3.1.1
They are installed already, this is not the issue. From what I can see, there are no gameconfig files available that work correctly at the moment, they'll either crash at some point or load endlessly. SuperStumpje's reply seems to confirm it's pretty hard to get mods to run properly with the latest update.

[REL] Realism Dispatch Enhanced 3.1.1
Thanks for the info, I hope you guys will be able to sort it out eventually. In the meantime I'll try to revert back to the previous version. By the way, if it can be of any help, this gameconfig worked fine with RDE minus sixstarresponse.dll for a few minutes, but crashed when I reached downtown - pretty much the same problem I had last time. The official RDE config that had been released back in April had addressed that problem and I was able to run the game smoothly with it until the new patch. I tried mixing values from that gameconfig with the old RDE one this morning and the game crashed on loading, though. Good luck!

[REL] Realism Dispatch Enhanced 3.1.1
I don't know if anyone else has been having this issue, but ever since the last update, my game loads endlessly when I'm using the recommended RDE gameconfig. No crash, just the little white wheel and loading music going in loops for 15+ minutes without the game ever loading. I tried using a few other game configs updated since the latest patch and just got crashes almost immediately after the game loads.

OpenIV discontinued | Take Two claims game modding "illegal"
I'm sorry, you're right, didn't mean to lash out. It's just that I'm starting to see this image pop up left and right, and I think it's undermining current efforts to establish a dialogue with Rockstar/Take Two by giving people the impression that their action was ultimately justified when that's not necessarily the case. Given the current context, it's easy to assume that he's talking about Rockstar's code, but it could be a number of other things - code taken without permission from other unrelated programs or projects, or even code he wrote himself on company time for his employer, which would be "illegal" to use in a personal project even if he's the author as it's technically company property... not that these situations would be ok, but they wouldn't be T2's problem. It could also be that he made up the "illegal" story just to have an excuse not to share the code with that other guy (who can't seem to take "no" for an answer). I do think that the person who first circulated that image has an agenda. Given that it's from a personal convo, it sounds like a grudge for not sharing the source code with them back then. By the way, the date on that convo (Feb 2015) predates the release of GTA V on PC... someone who doesn't notice that in the heat of the moment might think the convo took place in the last few days and is a smoking gun that validates T2's actions.

Yeah, except you only assume what he means, but can't know for sure. But sharing that image out of context is a nice smear tactic, I'll give you that.

Petition to Take-Two Interactive & Rockstar Games RE: OpenIV closing
A petition? I'm sure Take Two can afford their own toilet paper. If EVERYONE who enjoys modding GTA to some extent was to indefinitely stop purchasing ANY Take Two product (including all R* and 2K games) , it just *might* have enough impact on their sales for them to notice something's up. Maybe. But then they'd blame it on shifting demographics or some other BS. And who here can actually swear they won't jump on RDR2 the day it comes out, or buy a Civ 6 complete bundle when it's 75% off on Steam? Best thing to do is wait for greed to do its thing. Greed leads to overhyped, buggy, repetitive, microtransaction-ridden, short and boring games, games that get destroyed by critics and despised by the larger masses of gamers. Then they have no choice but to emerge out of terribleness, or go under.

[REL] Realism Dispatch Enhanced 3.1.1
Got a question for you guys... would it be possible (or maybe that's already planned for an upcoming version) to have police AI request backup when under fire from other AI? I lost count of how many times I saw one or two cops in a brave but ultimately losing fight against a dozen Vagos or Ballas, with no other cops responding. Seems to me like in such a situation, police cars would soon be swarming from all directions to assist their pinned colleagues - I mean, they do if the player character so much as stands too close to a cop's face! If it's possible to implement this kind of response (even if it's just sending a small preset amount of backup, e.g. 3-4 cars), it would certainly be a nice realistic touch.

1986 Declasse Premier - LSPD
Wow! Yeah, it does work very nicely as a Crown Vic LTD stand-in! Have you tried fitting it with the Aerodynic lightbar from your LSPD Willard? I'm really a big fan of your work. I like to keep my game lore-friendly, and there's nothing I enjoy more than seeing models that give a temporal dimension to GTA's lore by adding past versions of existing vehicles.
