Yeah, handling is quite obviously fixed by modifying the handling file. Though, as I said, I haven't encountered any mod that really fixes police3, so I was wondering if maybe a different file has to be modified as well.

try the "pursuitready handling mod, it modifies police and police3

 

Remember: Always use a mods folder!

Here's the completed (for now) Tahoe:

Did something new with this one which is changing the ScaleFactor of some of the lights. The front window Solaris ILS bar uses only 4 sirens (with coronas), each of which has lights on both sides. Normally this would cause an issue as scaling the lights to 50% would leave them exposed when off, but I've set the ScaleFactor to 100 so my lights are basically microscopic and hidden inside the housing when off.

Here is a new one I did....single to triple back to single...

Since I'm pretty lazy and don't want to scroll through 8 pages to see if this has been answered, is it possible to disable the light coronas while keeping the environmental lighting? I'm thinking of making something like a federal vision slr and having a custom sirensetting but I'm not sure how it would look if it still has coronas

I would thinks so....under the corona section of the siren look at

Try changing the size value to 0.

 

I haven't tested it yet so I don't know for certain.

This is what I have done with all of the models in my sheriff pack for at least some of the sirens, it works great when you want environmental lighting but don't want the strobing effect on a particular light module.

Anybody tried anything with rotating lights? I want to us a mix of strobe lights and rotating lights but incresing the BPM results in crazy fast rotation and unsyncing them from the BPM the rotation lights just don't do anything.

 

Any thoughts?

Looking at your entry, it looks like some of the strobing is caused by setting the multiple to 2 instead of 1.

Have managed to unsync the lights, this allows for a slow rotating lightbar but faster LED's or strobes at the same time. Just haven't managed to get the strobes to cooperate as the speed value is a bit weird.

However, corner strobes lokk great with 5000.)

The speed value seems to mainly affect the speed of the actual flash of light. Not necessarily the pattern speed.
