And for those wondering, just as ELS IV, ELS V is being coded using the C++ Scripthook. Therefore, it will be a ".asi" modification requiring ScirptHookV. The reason for this is simple: C++ is the coding language I am familiar with and the other hooks do not support it (in the sense of building a script with it--ELS will run just fine if the other hooks also happen to be installed).

I actually have tons of EVL cars I created myself that also have sirens on them so I can have the extended coronas on the buidings and I could also add in the actual lights but I prefer to just have the default police lights and sirens GTA default on when I am on a traffic stop or rolling code 2 or 3, other than that, it's nice to have the lights flashing but no cars are going cause AI madness if I just have my lights on.I am talking about EVL as if it were ELS just because I believe the systems will work very similarly.

Having ELS +standard lights+wigwags+strobesmod+hazard lights flashing you can be quite the Christmas tree. Plus my Visuallsettings is turned up to an ungodly rate and it works wonders with lightemissives.

This is what i need in my gta because default lights are just not good enough for me to fully enjoy them. I really want this to happen.

I do miss being able to have separate patterns for responding Code 2 and such

Maybe Incorporate sirenmastery with els for control ui and siren control?????

If you look in the videos, ELS already has it's own UI and siren control.

To help prevent people suggesting things that are already added, if i remember correctly, everything from ELS IV will be brought into ELS V, such as a UI, siren control, along with the obvious light patterns, cruise lights, taketowns, etc...

i was thinking about the structure that albo used to allow as many siren setups as we needed for cars like some using federal signal siren tones and others using whelen tones ect.... i've used ELS for IV and i've watched the video previews but one thing that ELS iv had was only 4 tones and you were restricted to 4 tones and so if you had whelen lighting on 3 models then the other 4 models having federal signal lighting and you used a whelen siren it wasn't very realistic for roleplay purposes but siren mastery has that option to where you could have 3 different siren tones in at once and then you setup a xml file to use those tones for those models for an example look at the atached image thats what im geting at if ELS siren control had these features of customization

yes ive seen the videos and all im saying is that ELS have a customizable ui control like if we want a Feniex 4200 siren head or a whelen cencom or a federal signal head ect.... we could change a few texture files and also have buttons for on or off for features like left arrow cuise lights ect... as well as the light stages on and off thats all 

As long as ELS is Scripthook compatible and not Rage Plugin Hook, I'm fine and I wonder if ELS will work with the cars made so far or do we have to remake all the cars? That probably asked but you know...

I don't keep track of this thread heaps but as far as I know they're using the extras system (like gta 4) and not the siren system, which is the one pretty much every model up until now uses

So, that video that the Ragehook peeps put out; is that ELS? Or is that something totally different and only from Ragehook?

They named it ELS but they didnt show what you guys already did, which is why i was wondering.

It's not ELS, they have called it ELS since it is similar in the fact that it allows you to change your lights.

Okay. I didnt think it was ELS because this isnt a rage plugin, but since they called it the same it really through me off. ;)

Damn son, I just realised towards the end of last year I made a comment saying it would probably be around August of this year that ELS would probably be released, and well, shit... looks like even that estimate was off.

Doesn't seem to be, but they've been saying "soon" for weeks now so I believe it's only a matter of days now.
