Hello people much smarter than me :-)
 
So, I want to try get into coding plugins for Rage/LSPDFR. I've followed a few tutorials (Thanks Albo) and I'm starting to feel a little bit confidant. I'm trying to make a callout where there is a drunk civilian in the street, that the player needs to deal with. I've hit a small hiccup. I wanted to have the ped shout random things as the walk around (Sort of like the stuff found here "Grand Theft Auto V\x64\audio\sfx\S_MISC.rpf\redr1drunk1.awc"), but I can't figure out a way to get the ped to do so. I found this Ped.PlayAmbientSpeech but I don't know were to go from here. I don't even know if what I want to do is possible. If anyone can offer some guidance I would greatly appreciate it.

The LAPD pack looks gorgeous. I'm just hoping the lights won't be as horrendously washed out like most of the existing packs that use Arjent bars are.

What BlockBa5her gave you is the simplest way to do it. Your conversation will display as it's defined in the array. However, if you choose to keep the players convo lines in its own array, and the other person's convo in another array, then you can do that too. You'd just need to modify your loops.

Channel 7 News in Australia ran a story regarding LSPDFR yesterday, misrepresenting that LSPDFR and other modifications are used as a simulation for killing police officers.  This has since been picked up by other media outlets, as well as the gaming press.  Obviously, this simply isn't the case, and you can read our statement regarding this matter below.

 
 

I would like to say a few things before I go. It was a great run for the strong 4 years Ive been modding for the community and I would gladly like to continue but there comes a certain time in someones life where you have to make a tough decision. I have decided to grow up and move on with my life so I will no longer make mods for the community so please do not message me about why im leaving or to make you a private request it will be ignored. But if you wish to say fair well it will be acceptable. So I hope you guys continue to make the community stronger than what it already is.

Although i understand everyone's hype for the mod, I will ask for people to refrain from asking for release dates or teasers. These will be released when the developers feel that they're ready to do so. If anyone has an issue with this then they can PM me and we can discuss it further. However everyone please don't go off topic and respond to people asking for release dates. Keep to the discussion of ELS V.

Yeah I know. But, the question was literally answered less than a week ago on this thread.

In addition to this, the question has been answered multiple times in every video recently published.
 
I'm not getting my hopes up for a release date, it is silly to get too excited as there have been instances where, all of a sudden, videos were coming out and we thought ELS would follow shortly but were disappointed. 
I'd rather allow Lt. Caine the time to perfect the mod to his liking and "creative spirit" than to get overly excited and push a release of an unfinished product.

This isn't RPH or R*'s fault. There's are a million reasons why it would be crashing on Loading and Population game world. You should try posting a new support thread.

I am getting the same error as you. I have even tried running the game on a clean install, yet i'm still getting a crash.

We are confirming that @Albo1125 is the newest addition to the ELS V testing team.

I may or may not have been watching to much Hawaii Five-0 lately. So I decided to look for an HPD skin pack, sadly I couldn't find one. Therefore I came here to ask, Is there anyone out there who would be interested in making a Honolulu Police Department Inspired skin pack for GTAV for the community and I? Since carcols modding is now a thing, we can also have proper full blue light bar vehicles. which I think would look amazing with HPD skins one them.

You're right, it has already been asked. 

Just as a reminder this topic is about els, any off-topic posts will be removed. 

You'll be coming back when ELS V comes out.

Lt.Caine is on vacation and will be back soon. I don't see why ELS is going to cease and decease because we can edit carcols now. At the very basic sense Carcol provides basic patterns, and some other small meaty bones. But I have to admit the ability to customize environmental lighting through carcols has very promising abilities. I have no doubt in my mind that Lt.Caine might research it and see if he can incorporate it into ELS but that's just my guess. When he gets back from his vacation he can decide the next best course of action. No more "RIP ELS " or any of this talk. Thanks, guys.
