I just want to squash all the "when will it be released", "It's never gonna come out" and "It will be coming soon" comments.

Currently there is NO, absolutely NO, set release date.  ELS is not done being worked on, it's framework is not yet where it needs to be.  All demonstrations and updates are simply that, demonstrations and updates.

ELS could come out tomorrow it could come out 3 months from now WE DON'T KNOW.  Please be patient as the development of such a mod takes time and resources.  We are not purposely withholding the modification to tease or be selfish, the fact of the matter is, WHEN ITS DONE ITS DONE.

With this being said, I want to thank ALL of you, the members of the community, on your continued support and patience during the development. We do this for you; seriously.

NP. Its not like we are stuck with the horrid GTA 4 "lighting system". We can wait it out

In all seriousness, Lt. Caine, LMS, and everyone else working on ELS deserves tons of love from this community. This will be the crowning achievement of GTA V. Very excited to see some of the old timers move their work to V and new members to share their work, ELS V will really inspire creativity within the modeling community.

When people ask when the release date is, it's just excitement from the community. No need to get pissy. I think it gives everyone a good sense of the general hype and how badly everyone wants this mod. So no matter how many times it's posted or spelled out to not ask for release date, it will still be pondered by folks here.

Of course they can be excited, but how many times do Prophet, GravelRoadCop or any other member have to say there is no release date? Being excited is fine. But pestering and bumping this thread to ask for a release date even though someone just said there is no release date is getting really annoying. If you have to ask for a release date, Look through this thread. I'm tired of people who can't read. Asking 6 times a day won't help your cause.

Exaggerate much? There's probably one request a week in this thread about release date.
