  • I am currently an [Active] US Marine Lieutenant. I just got off deployment from Afghanistan and will serve a few more tours in the future. :P

  • Nothing beats the ergonomics of the newer model Glock 23, I've always used Glock 22s, But I love the compact design in the glock 23, So thus far it is my favorite pistol.

  • must...add..sig p226...

Nothing like the stopping power of a .45 ACP for pistols, which is why I have to give my vote to the gun with over 100 years of history in the US military.

Sticks and stones may break bones, but 5.56 fragments on impact.

I just like the G19's feel to it. I also trained with it for my first two deployments. Personal preference.

Going with the 1911 on this one as my personal choice. @

Whats your preferred firearm? I personally like the G19, as it has proved its worth by saving my life numerous times in Afghanistan. :P

The 19 is an excellent Firearm , And THANK YOU! for your Service!

No problem and thanks for your appreciation! We don't see that often anymore unfortunately.

I love my S&W 4566 but for police side arm I really enjoyed the S&W M&P, very good gun and very comfrontable in my hands

This is a signature, not a good one, but one that's needed

Going to the range on monday with the narcotics division to shoot the G17 and the FN GP Browning. I've already got to hold them and in my opinion, the Glock just feels lighter and more agile. Don't know if it's that much different from the G19. Would love to shoot an M9 as well though but for me it's Glock all the way.

"Dura lex, sed lex"

I'm biased for pistols, person I share a house with has a .45 M1911, so that's my vote, the only handgun I've actually shot, the other guns have all been rifles (for rifles, a .22 and a .308 hunting rifle....which makes holes in the woods round here)

I love the glock 23 and 32. I got an airsoft model of the 23. Spent a nice amount of money on it and its pretty cool. Ever since the NYPD won me over that's where I stick :P

Everything needs more lights.

Well, I shot the G19 today. It seems the G17's have already been replaced with the G19's over here. It's a really light pistol and I got a really nice group with it as well. Also saw the FN GP Browning and the S&W MP9 (the new service pistol) being shot. The instructor preferred the speed of the G19 as well seeing it has a trigger safety while the GP has an old safety switch.

It may be strange, but my favorite is FN FNP. Modern lightweight weapon, "police" calibers with capability of non-lethal cartriges usage, and looks good.

HK USP .40

This. ;)
