Some news just In, hope you don't mind me sharing it with you;

Sources from Rumour Control officially confirm that  'not all may be able to visualise the countdown'. Gossip Galore claim to have witness accounts verifying, although it appears to resemble that of a countdown the pure truth is it may be a hoax. Chiefs of Science, Heads of Biology, Masterminds of all, even Clan destines have been seen investigating this latest world mystery. Religious groups have also been feeling the heat! A local religious teacher from a hidden tiny place in a world so far away claims "those who see - will be chosen". Now think of that what you will, preferably in a quiet place and on your lonesome, however on the website 'inter-under-stand-up-down' it was noted that users almost came to death over arguments stemmed from this post:

" ITS A HOAX! I'm telling you wake up people, I can prove it coz I live in the South. Its staring you in the face, you gotta see it man". The over-aged jokester goes on to conclude:

"When all these guys put pics up of LCPDFR wi a Countdown across the top, well that's it, none of the pics show me a countdown. Yah I see digits, but non of em movin, they're all static, Not any of em countin down to me - not in these pics anyway".

Eyes Always Shut, the magazine that's not even worth flicking through the pics, also revealed that just after the countdown was made live on the LSPDFR website, a bomb had been found in the animal revival / waste food incinerating room at the head office complex in the rather toshy media city. Once Bomb disposal had figured out that it wasn't a bomb at all but just a little cute fury toy from Frozen with big blue eyes!  sat there, all innocent in the corner of a C4 Explosives box.

Not that quick, quick response officers later noticed that the toy had a 'not so official' Frozen headscarf on. Upon closer inspection, the following words became clear. One stunning discovery before we share what it read, was that the worlds were written in whatever you call that stingy thing that comes from a taser! Ouch! Next to ouch! it continued ' the countdown is the ETA for the final stop on one of the Hype Trains! but many more will come, and without any doubt one will likely be a F***ing Express!

Again say what ya see, and see what ya think .As soon as more updates, launches, countdowns, count-ups, push ups, back slams and hacky sacs become available on this countdown pandemonium, we will have it to you faster, repeat faster, once again faster, with a V1.0 faster to you than the time it took Linford Christie to RUN the entire Pacific Ocean - now that fast!

The countdown is only for spanish users :P

Stupid question regarding the features: code 2 vs. code 3? Is one with lights / sirens, other without sirens?

 

It depends on the department. Usually in the US Code 2 means lights, while Code 3 means Lights AND Siren.

Here in good ol' Canada (eh!) Code 2 is NO Lights or Siren, just get to the scene quicker but obey all traffic laws. Code 3 is Lights AND Siren again. This might not be how ALL departments and police services do it here though, just in my area and most of the western provinces.

I would like to see how the callout UI looks like. In LCPDFR 0.95RC2 it was more like there was dialogue between NPCs and in LCPDFR 1.0 and newer, this nice box in the top right corner appeared when something was talked about on the radio. I'd really like to see how it looks in LSPDFR.

Also, how does the AI handle in combat and pursuits? Would SWAT even drag the injured officers out of the battlefield into cover?
And how does LSPDFR influence the pursuits (e.g. will it let the cops follow normally and make an officer do a PIT as soon as there's a suitable location? or will the cops just handle like they would with the different wanted levels?)? I like V's AI so far (except some single situations that appear very often), and now that LSPDFR improves the AI so the cops are acting less lethal than in IV, I can't imagine how great and satisfying patrols would be.

Countdown is set to expire 6pm CST on Friday. 3:30pm central time and the counter reads 2d, 2h, 30m.

I am not advocating this by any means, however, I am sure there are people out there that have/will supply a way for LSPDFR to work online (hence all the hackers that we see in GTA O).

Does anybody know how to access the jail part of the LSPD police station? I seen it in some places.

Just installed a new 750W Thermaltake PSU in anticipation for my new 2GB Sapphire Radeon HD 6970 GPU, due to arrive on Friday! All in preparation for undisturbed, silky smooth police brutality / shenanigans, enabled by the kind souls of G17. I was able to cope with the performance issues for the regular game, but LSPDFR requires special TLC. Really a great excuse to maintain a mid-level computer.

Does anybody know how to access the jail part of the LSPD police station? I seen it in some places.

The basement with cells only loads in Online, and even then it is only accessible in a setup for the prison break heist since in the last patch Rockstar locked the back door, which they had forgotten about before that (which made a really nice hiding spot).

Will LSPDFR be able to work with FiveM? Many community owners, including me, would like to see LSPDFR in some form of Multiplayer. Personal FiveM dedicated servers are not even on Rockstar's servers so cheating in public online would not be possible.

To everyone wondering whether the countdown is actually there, @Sam just confirmed on Facebook that it is a joke and that it is actually there, so you can stop screaming your heads off at them now!
