  • Guys, come on, we all know that isn't a real countdown.  You just used a trainer for it!

  • The anticipation is killing me.  Preparations going well so far, however...

  • ... Kind of speechless that people are getting this demanding for something that is being pretty much created as a hobby result from a few very skilled coders.  We are looking at weeks, not months til

I don't want to say any names but one off the moderators seems super angered by people wondering what time the mod releases.

I supervise 24 people at my job and when they ask me the same questions or I have to tell them the same thing over and over again it gets pretty frustrating. These guys are supervising wayyy more than that so I completely understand why they would get frustrated at people for asking the same question which they have continuously answered over and over.

That's the thing... because of all the hints being dropped, people are naturally assuming things and it's frankly getting a bit silly.

Well yeah. the lack of content currently leaves space for other nonrelated-not so great posts

I'm sure LMS and Sam would rather work on the modification itself than post progress updates every 5 minutes. NTM, Sam said earlier that they were just polishing the mod to make it as good as can be. I'm sure that can't be very interesting to see, but much more fun to play.

Well feels good to know that, i'm not the only one to notice lol

but in all seriousness we should give Sam and the team their time and just wait for them to decide when to release LSPDFR.

Awesome!, thanks for the info. They can take as long as they want...always room for improvement no matter how small.

It would take literally 3 Minutes to post a quick status update about the modding progress once a day.

The more people complain that it's not released yet is just going to make the devs not want to release it(they will release it if course) but we just have to be patient, the longer we wait the better it will be when we play it:)

I agree it would be good but they probably won't do it

I don't see a reason to. ntm, if they did, i'm sure it wouldn't be anything of great interest. At this point, they're just polishing it up and fixing bugs.

And that's 3 minutes they could've been looking over code to get it to us faster. I DO NOT understand what the big deal is here? It'll be out when it is out! Stop getting up in arms and get hyped about it while still being respectful.

Okay, here's your status update:

"Working on the mod."

Seriously though, all they're doing now is giving the code a bit of a look over and probably fixing some small bugs here and there.

Okay, here's your status update:

"Working on the mod."

Here's your update: today has been a day of bug squashing, one of the new pullover features has broken the pursuit ai so I guess that's what most of my day tomorrow will consist of fixing.

I'm still super respectful, is it forbidden to be hyped and suggest something at the same time now?

I haven't read all the comments here, but WOW some of you need to learn patience.

You cannot really give estimates for something that is being coded, anything and everything can go wrong.  If they say it will be released on x date and then a few hours before launching they find bug that can break the game/mod, they would then have to postpone the release, and then everyone would be calling them liars and say they shouldn't announce a release date if they cannot keep to it.

Exactly 100% correct.

To a certain extent, it gets annoying. No offense, but some people are getting overly demanding and are turning into self-entitled knobs who complain when people like LMS and Sam try to make something that most of us would quite enjoy, yet still want to bitch about a release date and decide that the world evolves around them.
