LSPDFR Feature Preview

Hope there's a good motorcycle patrol set up or maybe even bikes for beach patrolling lol. Patrolling Vinewood on a motorcycle sounds great.

Vespucci beach is going to be a cool area to patrol as well and the grove street area at night should be a thrill . It is going to be awesome no doubt.

Yes indeed. As for as the motorcycle on a beach...I honestly am not feeling that but more of a truck patrol. I wonder if LSPDFR will detect the lifeguard vehicles as police vehicles. Also soon, we will be looking forward to actually police vehicle models that have proper .ytd and .wtd files so no more of this crappy guess where the color is for texturing.

  • Guys, come on, we all know that isn't a real countdown.  You just used a trainer for it!

  • The anticipation is killing me.  Preparations going well so far, however...

  • ... Kind of speechless that people are getting this demanding for something that is being pretty much created as a hobby result from a few very skilled coders.  We are looking at weeks, not months til

Oh no for the beach I meant like bicycle patrol. Been to Florida a few times when I was younger and police there had mountain bikes for the beach. Just sounded fun in my head to chase a drunk perp on the beach and be able to do some crazy dive tackle take down with a sand face plant finisher LOL.

Haha, knock yourself out man. That would be a good series though, arresting those pesky republican space rangers that are always there and those annoying LS tourists.

I will be sure to link you a playlist once I get the ball rolling.

Interesting. I get you now. Bike patrol on Vespucci beach boardwalk.

Awesome dude, looking forward to it, can't wait :D.

A idea on backup would be the ability to swap into the backup and a AI driver take over your patrol. Like maybe you could swap into the helicopter during the chase or a swat unit during a raid. But let you swap back as soon as you clear call out.

I wish they had a good police bike uniform. My local town (which is a beach resort) uses bike cops all summer, and they go all over town. The LSPD officer on a bike doesn't have the same effect.

That would be crazy insane but cool.

The other mods have been doing a pretty good job, I was only curious but do you guys collaborate together at all to make things smoother?  Like for instance "Lights and Sirens Mod"  then the tradition GTA V Police Mod 1.0c for example.  I know the modding community to either be very cooperative or sometimes people take things personal meaning they keep their knowledge to themselves.  Either way LCPDFR has and always probably will be the Mod of choice.  Hope it comes out soon,  I would love to just walk down coast and check out perps and question them without the car ya know.  Maybe even perhaps give your guy a yellow shirt with Police a bike helmet and hit the beach... .I know sounds cheesy, but I like how smooth LCPDFR is while your just wakling down the street you can question people.  Unfortunately the GTA IV version with ELS, Eye candy and car mods always seemed to crash my game.  Couldn't get things to work like most people and I have a top notch PC.  GTA V ELS lights already look amazing without modification imo.

Anyways, Cheers!  Hope it comes out soon!   BTW, for the hard work you guys put in, I will be donating some money your ways via PayPal.

Great job guys!!!! I'm hyped. I think I've seen people able to replace the ped skins in gta v. Does this mean car mods aren't too far off?

I'm wondering if they've found a way around the player switch back when using different player models. I'm not sure if that was a feature of the model changers themselves, or if it was integrated into V itself.

Ragehook doesn´t work for me, I reinstalled the game and nothing -.- it crashes at the five star -.-

ragehook creates a log in the gta folder that'll say why. Don't use enb or a reshade mod with ragehook currently makes game crash.

I reinstalled the game, no mods, NET framework updated... :(

Make sure you are running the ragehook executable file as an administrator. Mine would crash at the beginning for a while, then I ran it as an admin, and it worked.

[Edit]: Also make sure that your trainers' open key is remapped to something other than F4, (F3's virtual key code is 114).

[Back on topic]: I'd like to see more EMS and Fire Dept. integration into the mod. For example, calling EMS for a highly intoxicated person, having EMS assist on a suicidal subject, responding to assist with traffic control at a fire scene, having the fire department standing by at a bomb threat, etc. I'd also like to see the ability to do a helicopter patrol (assisting with pursuits as either a pilot, or swat team member), or a boat patrol where you need to chase other boats, or respond to offshore emergencies (possibly having to pick up EMS personnel to take them to a boater who suffered an injury). It would also be cool to respond to different calls based on your department (i.e. animal attacks, or reports of illegal hunting as a park ranger, disabled vehicles as a highway patrolman, searching for missing persons as an FIB agent, or getting only calls for major incidents as a NOOSE officers. I'd also like to see BOLOs where you get a vehicle description, and then there is a chance that you will find that vehicle/person while on your regular patrol.

I feel that so much more can be accomplished as far as modding GTA V compared to GTA IV (and you could do a lot for GTA IV)

[Note]: I don't expect all of this in the first release, and don't necessarily expect it at all as I may be only one of a few people who want this type of stuff.

You know you put that insanely well? I knew it would need some awesome ideas but couldn't put my finger on any. I support every one of those and I don't think that Sam and everyone else couldn't do it. I look forward to seeing what will come in later updates of LSPDFR!

Was Lspdfr developed by script hook v? Because rage just had its release or was Rage already developed and they not release it until Lspdfr was close to finishing?
