  • Guys, come on, we all know that isn't a real countdown.  You just used a trainer for it!

  • The anticipation is killing me.  Preparations going well so far, however...

  • ... Kind of speechless that people are getting this demanding for something that is being pretty much created as a hobby result from a few very skilled coders.  We are looking at weeks, not months til

Ignoring the arguing above.......my favorite feature is going to be the new arrest animations. Yay!!!!

Oh yes. I've been digging around the animations myself and have found them to be quite interesting. It's almost as if Rockstar intentionally left them there for us. I never really liked how the animation for handcuffing was in GTA IV. It was so slow and gentle.

To a certain extent, it gets annoying. No offense, but some people are getting overly demanding and are turning into self-entitled knobs who complain when people like LMS and Sam try to make something that most of us would quite enjoy, yet still want to bitch about a release date and decide that the world evolves around them.

Of course the people asking for a release date are annoying but it's the people speculating about a release date I think the mods are getting a bit too worked up over.

I think they're handling it just fine.

I fully understand the team's policy, which is not to communicate any date to avoid disappointing people who follow the development of the mod, as Ubisoft and even Rockstar Games did repeatedly. (noting, however, that until the end Rockstar has never officialy gave the precise release date on PC until it was sure).

Nevertheless, expressions like "almost imminent" only increase the tension, so I don't think that we should blame those who express their growing impatience,

Thank to all the team for all the work done, but do not forget that the fans are showing very humans feelings, and without wanting to cause controversy, this is due in a hugh part to the current communication policy, wich I support anyway.

So, let me tell you something! Sam is the creator and head chief of this website, LCPDFR, LSPDFR and G17 MEDIA. The management team finance this site with their own money. And they spent their whole free time to keep LCPDFR alive! Maybe they've got some sponsors now. I don't know. Instead of beeing childish, everybody should DONATE a little amount of money to keep this community alive. Let's support them, instead of beeing annoying and ask every second if it will be released today, tomorrow, next week or whenever. It's not about the feelings of the individual. It's about the community! I'm excited too.

Is there a donate button somewhere? I haven't seen one.

Some people are really annoying. No matter which game modding community one is in there are always those people trying to force somebody into something. Its really disgusting. And sometimes it leads to the decision to stop a mod or even not to release it. Can you people please calm down? To be excited is ok, but dont go over the top.

When someone create a mod, there may be many bad reactions, some people can spit on your work, or even claim it for them, to make money or just for a form a fleeting glory.

Currently some people show theur impatience to discover this mod.

We can accuse them of being impatient or even selfish, but write just to criticize these people isn't a good think, I doubt that many of us can claim to have never been impatient.

This topic should be about the discussion of the feature preview list. I'd say only about 10% of the posts here follow that.

We get it. LSPDFR is going to be this great thing, and its release is "almost imminent." It's understandable many people here are excited, but there comes a point where that excitement gets a bit excessive. Demanding a release date or status updates is, in my opinion, rather rude. I could understand a status update or release date if, perhaps, this was paid content and you pre-ordered it. However, that's not the case here. This team is working on this mod for free because they want to. They could have completely avoided working on this mod at all.

Instead of demanding a release date, be grateful that there even is an LSPDFR mod coming to us in the near future.

I can't say I'm not excited, but I'm not going to ask for any status updates. I've never had the chance to fully enjoy LCPDFR because GTA IV was a terrible port. Lucky for me, GTA V runs much more smoothly and with its better engine, I'll be able to enjoy the full experience of being on the other side of the law.

Well, i really like those features. Its amazing for the first version, no doubt. I hope there will be some K-9 action in the future. Should be possible i guess. :) For now im eager to find out about the back up and how the AI Cops will handle those situations.

Yes! Also, diverse callouts would make it very interesting.

So, Lets discuss some LCPD features then everyone. What do you guys think of the features that will be implemented in the first version?

the coffee is really a good thing, but without donuts how could we become real american cops ?

In fact, I really want to see how the non lethal AI will work, it's a really important thing for a police mods, because the gta police just look too much like a crew of terminators with the mission to kill as many people as possible

Just imagine the enhanced experience we will get of LSPDFR in first person. It's going to be epic then being stuck behind your guy like in gta iv

Well thats something i´m also looking forward too. Now TrackIR support would be even greater. But i guess one cant have anything ^^
