Female Sheriff in Directors Mode

Featured Replies

Wondering if anyone else can confirm this?

For those of you that don't know, Directors Mode allows you to play as one of many peds from the game, including cops.  It seems as though everything behaves as usual though, and playing as a cop doesn't mean anything.  I've found that, however, the female sheriff's deputy seems to be able to get away with pretty much anything other than attacking or, god forbid, looking the wrong way at AI cops, however - going as far as being able to execute civilians right in front of them.  You still get a wanted level, but its as though the AI cops can't see her, and eventually the wanted level disappears.

"You tell me exactly what you want, and I will very carefully explain to you why it cannot be."

If I recall, back on the last-gen consoles somebody made a character model swap mod that allowed you to play as the LSPD, and it had the same results on it as it did here. In the video, according to the guy, the wanted level stars bootlegged into "backup" stars, which display the amount of backup you'll receive in a shootout/pursuit. It seemed really well-done as if it was a beta version of LSPDFR. As long as you don't attack a fellow officer, you won't be attacked too.

Not working for me. Hijacking a car got me 1 star and rammed by a nearby cop car.

Yeah, that's a known "bug" with it. Any criminal act, even the seemingly microscopic ones, can fellow warrant you an actual wanted level.

There was one YouTuber who started a series using said mod, iTzKevinFTW. For those who are lazy and don't want to check out this system themselves, check the mentioned YouTuber's "LSPD:FR" videos.

Misread a few bits of his sentence. Won't be a recurring problem.

I tested out the LSPD ped using the character model swap mod and I found out that either bumping into the police officers, running over the police officers, or aiming your weapon at the SWAT Marksmen on the side of the helicopters would trigger them to shoot you. Them being only the specific officers you've aggravated.

How'd you access the deputy?

Magic. But really though, just director mode. I'm exporting the movie now. Should be up today.

Yeah, i checked out the director mode, but I didn't see any of the deputies, male or female.

Yeah, director's mode is pretty fun to mess around in.

Turn off Wanted Levels, & Restricted Locations, & you can take a Airforce pilot character (or any character) & get (fly) into the Military base & do whatever you want.  Fun stuff :)

It actually encourages me to try out making some videos, which I just might after my exams this month.

How did you get the camera to stick to the hood? I'm still figuring out the camera options.

Move with: player (or whoever it is) and camera: fixed.
