NYPDLEE reacted to Derekleet in Female Sheriff in Directors Mode
If I recall, back on the last-gen consoles somebody made a character model swap mod that allowed you to play as the LSPD, and it had the same results on it as it did here. In the video, according to the guy, the wanted level stars bootlegged into "backup" stars, which display the amount of backup you'll receive in a shootout/pursuit. It seemed really well-done as if it was a beta version of LSPDFR. As long as you don't attack a fellow officer, you won't be attacked too.

Wondering if anyone else can confirm this?
For those of you that don't know, Directors Mode allows you to play as one of many peds from the game, including cops.  It seems as though everything behaves as usual though, and playing as a cop doesn't mean anything.  I've found that, however, the female sheriff's deputy seems to be able to get away with pretty much anything other than attacking or, god forbid, looking the wrong way at AI cops, however - going as far as being able to execute civilians right in front of them.  You still get a wanted level, but its as though the AI cops can't see her, and eventually the wanted level disappears.

It's easy to get YouTube famous these days. Just find a public servant of some kind and go bother them for 15 minutes and you'll be all over the internet. Disclaimer: You may or may not be arrested for doing it.

I'm just gonna say that guy just made up that the cops would shoot him, if the claimed they would shoot him, that guy woulda been in the coroners' already.
    "Corrupt NYPD blah blah..."

First of all, if someone's corrupt, it means they get paid or similar, to do dirty work, those cops was just doing their job, not corrupt.
"Detective Kim" Okay, so the the guy who made this vid must get things straight, that "Kim" is just a low ranking officer, look at his badge. Its not a star, or golden, it's the regular one.

I don't see why a bunch of people film the cops, when they are a suspect, and just keep on resisting and denying, claiming that their lawyer can do something out  of a blurry, shitty phone video.
15 minutes of what, he fighting mouth to mouth against three cops?

    Jesus christ.
Some other videos of 'street lawyers' I kinda agree with the guy filming, to respect his rights and what-not, but this guy is just being annoying and is at least disturbing the peace.

I've noticed, whenever I arrest/stop someone I start to create a lot of attention, a bunch of pedestrians will usually stop what they're doing and just observe the arrest.

Nowadays, recording the police is a common practice, so why not spawn a couple of pedestrians whose primary function it is to record the police or just the arrest.
