  • Well I can invoke a few natives already :)

  • You'll probably see vehicle modifications and the like a lot sooner than script modifications.

I give it three weeks before someone makes a trainer for the game. Proper mods such as cars and scripts will probably be a few months yet.

If anything, it looks more difficult. It's all in the form of .rpf files. It's probably going to take some work to break through. You'll no longer be able to just go into common folder and edit text files, like handling.dat or vehicles.ide, it looks more complex than that in my opinion. Maybe someone will create a successor to Spark IV that will make it easier and accessible.

The PS3 and 360's .rpf files are already readable by OpenIV, as are the model and texture files within. It's just a matter of time before OpenIV adds PC support.

You are using the WRONG right theme!

Yeah from what I've read, which isn't a lot :P, everything is in RPF, which spark IV can handle, and I think OpenIV can also, but they are working to improve it.

I would relate RPFs to IMGs. Once we get a solid OpenIV update to crack into RPFs, we will still need to find the vehicle extensions. Which I really hope they kept .wft and .wtd!

Just seen that they have released a trainer for GTA 5 on pc already

Don't get me wrong Mods are Awesome, But if people are going to start using god mode we might as well go play console. Make your mods, just don't put out God Mode just yet.

couldn't rockstar make a mod/non mod server where it can just auto kick anyone using mods and a sandbox for people using them? How could hey approach it anyway as im sure rockstar wouldn't be happy with a trainer giving you $500000 without forkin out real cash from it in dlc. I worry so..

I just want to be Never wanted. There is enough going on around the city for you to role play your own LCPDFR for now.All you need is to be never wanted. And a car fix would be cool

Although that isn't much going on LMS its good to see a little something. This is the first thing that ive seen mod wise on PC other than some crash makers.

Rockstar made an announcement that they will be banning people from multilayer who cause the gameplay to be less enjoyable. So I assume that means they know modding will happen but as long as it's not detrimental or unfair it's okay? So obviously a trainer god mode would get you kicked/banned.

What's wrong with single-player god mode? And how does this have anything to do with console?

Also, I have a tip for people with LSPDFR urges: in story mode, steal a cop car or bike, repair it and save it in your garage. Go into Director mode, change into a Cop model, turn wanted level and restricted areas off. Now you're free to drive around and pretend. You can even do voice lines etc. for added effect. Made myself a few Dashcam traffic stops in the editor so far.

Director mode is great. Small vid I made in DM.

One annoying thing in DM is there's no 1st person view.
