It does work, but I think it's buggy, particularly on freeway. (see video below) From what I can tell during my own tests, it doesn't clear traffic already spawned near you but stops new traffic spawning.

I just wanted to throw some praise your way for 0.3 and say thanks for all your hard work. I've many hours in vanilla 0.3 (no mods other than vehicles) and I have to say it's exceptional. Arrests are fluid, pedestrian interactions are superb. Traffic stops, wonderful, and once I get round to installing my favorite mods, I can tell I'm going to have a lot of fun. Bugs and glitches have been few and far between. I did encounter one strange issue that I captured (see bellow), but on the whole, nothing game breaking! So again, many thanks, and I look forward to your continued development. :) )

I don't really see an issue with this. Just don't try to initiate an arrest until you're at a realistic range.

Yeah I agree, but then I realise (or suspect) that announcing it early brings lots and lots of extra traffic to the website over a longer period of time which in turn generates ad revenue for the team. If that's not the reason, then I think for sure they should announce it once it's ready to be released but give a 2 week release date to build up anticipation.

I would love more realistic stuff in there. Reminds me of the old police quest series. You actually had to walk around your vehicle to check it before you could drive off :D Good times lol. That said, too much of the boring, routine stuff and it becomes a RL simulator. A balance would be great. I think the best approach would be for LSPDFR to be simple but let addons add realism for those who want it.

Wouldn't mind it being removable by player, but the fact they just toss it on the ground 2 seconds after getting off the bike is pretty immersion breaking.

Any mods out there that prevent the officer from throwing his helmet on the ground once he dismounts his bike? If not, consider this a suggestion / request for LSPDFR. Many thanks.
