​I actually tried this and it seems actually very stable, it is just a matter of time before there'll be a ton of different police simulator mods for GTA 5. 

Question is, which one will be the most popular and dominant every other police mod?

There's no need for it when the in-game lights are already perfected.

There's a lot of police car mods for GTA IV that don't use ELS. And ELS is much more than pretty lights flashing. I would love to see a ELS mod for GTA V for, at least, be able to turn on the lights separate from the sirens.

I understand, but if you are not here to contributing to the mod development or have a opinion of how to MAKE a future mod better, keep your "asshole" to yourself.
I see no reason why should I go to a modding section and say that mod shouldn't exist, even if there is a lot of people, like myself, that would love to see a ELS mod.

Here's a reason: When there's a mod like ELS, it means the car modding community is split. People who don't like ELS are shut out of a lot of IV police car mods, because most are ELS-only. Split modding communities are never ideal.

While this is partly true, there are plenty of non ELS cars and car packs. if they can deal without ELS they can do with the default cars too, If not then like I said theres plenty of non-ELS cars, just because some people don't want it shouldnt stop the ones who do, it should be equalized for both parties (Ones who do and dont want ELS cars)

I'd like to see more foot chases, yeah. Always loved it.

I already imagine how I'll pull over a Burrito full of Lost bikers, line them up with their hands on their heads, and teach them some respect for the John Law.

​At no point did i ever try to convince anyone to "like" my opinion. I just stated what i thought.

well honestly ELS does the same thing but a lot prettier and more bloom, plus some extra lights.  it's eyecandy really. I mis-stated what I really meant, so yeah i guess you're right.
