  • well i wanna get it BUT im waiting for the LCPDFR mod for it to come out lol. after playing this mod, GTA just doesnt seem fun without it :P

  • Can you pre order it yet? R* has been surprisingly quite about it`s release.I hope they don`t try to push it`s release back a few weeks.I know you can`t on Steam, which is what i plan to buy it threw.T

  • I've also preordered but will probably go to the stores one day before and check if they already sell it as well (they did for GTA SA back then).   Also for those of you thinking about getting the gam

I will get GTA V when i know its not a broken mess like GTA IV was

I am on the same boat.  So many games these past few years have been crap at release.  And the pre-ordering is encouraging companies to release half-finished/buggy piles of crap.  Which they can complete later(months later),  charge you expansions to fix it,  or do nothing at all since they have your money already.

The unfortunate reality is that one customer won't make a difference.  But I am going to stick to my principles,  and wait till a review comes out from a trustworthy source.

I purchased GTA IV,  only for LCPDFR because it was a unique gaming experience no one has really done before.

For GTA V,  I am interested more on the sandbox world this time around.  And I will be a little more forgiving on any issues with the game.

I am so ready for it. I actually built my first ever PC to run it. I'm not really willing to dish out full price for a game that I already have on console, so I'll either be waiting for the price to go down, or wait until most of my friends have it before I get it. I surely won't be pre-ordering it because it comes out in the middle of my exams, and I won't even be able to play it until a week later.

I pre-ordered around November i think.. Soon after they announced it for PC i pre-ordered it, All paid off waiting for pickup at the end of January =) Hopefully my PC can handle it though.. it better because i paid $2000 so it could run Batman Arkham Knight so i didn't need a next gen console.

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me

I agree. I want to make sure a mod for this game is made before even buying it. I have GTA 5 for console (Xbox ONE) and it became rather boring after a bit without any other big stuff like mods (LCPDFR or LSPDFR).

yeah i own the copy for PS3 BUT for some reason the game freezes on Trevors first mission. I have never been able to get past that and of course Rockstar has no explanation as to why. so while searching for answers on youtube on how to fix that i ran into an lcpdfr video. sooo after stalking the forum for couple weeks i finally went and bought gta iv for my pc just to play this. i haven't played one PS3 game since then

Damn. I might be able to run it on Low/Med depending on the port hopefully. Only thing that will weigh me down is my ancient bottlenecking CPU. I know this game is gonna be CPU intensive.. well. I mean. With the new Graphics features. And PS4 has a better GPU than CPU. MAYBE. It might be GPU, that'd help a bit!

CPU: Xeon 7030 Like 7 years old

GPU: Asus GTX 750ti 2GB GDDR5

4 gigs of ram with 3 usuable :(

Oh framerate.. rip

When it is available to be preordered on Steam, I will preorder it.

This ^

I was going to order it over some retailer, then put a USA address & have DHL deliver it to my P.O. Box. But when speaking with a friend, I realized it would be better to buy it on Steam; so I don't have to wait 1 whole fkn' month for my country's damn Customs to clear the game & it's CD.

If my post made you laugh (or giggle) in any way, smash that blue grey "Like this" button & like it

Good choice. And with it being on Steam you can verify cache too. So if you ever mess up the files and have no backup. Instead of a reinstall, you can just set all files back to default! :D

Thanks GabeN!

Its interesting they have yet to announce the requirements when we are mere weeks from the release date. I hope they don't delay the release but i would rather they release a finished product. And while i have enjoyed GTA IV and LCPDFR its just too buggy and small i cant wait to explore GTA V on the PC and see what the modding community comes up with.

I don't get why people are saying they are going to wait to buy the game for the LCPDFR mod for V. Correct me if I am wrong here, but I didn't think people even knew to what extent GTA V was moddable, if even at all for PC. Yes Sam and the team will probably work their arses off to get a mod  working, but again correct me if I am wrong, I don't expect there to be an LCPDFR mod for V for a bit of time after the release. I'm not saying there won't ever be one, but I didn't think that they were going to release a mod directly after release.

Also for those of you thinking about getting the game on Amazon, we have set up ref-links for US, UK and Germany, so if you would like to support us, you can order it at no additional cost using our links (of course, anything else bought on Amazon originating from this link session counts in as well).

Please do not PM me unless really necessary (knowing you helps). If you think you need my attention in a topic, tag me.

I would love to support it. But to be honest, I would prefer it on Steam. It's like, unless Amazon comes with a Steam Key, sure. But I highly doubt we'll get any news about that. So I might just stick to Steam, once I buy it I can start downloading instantly, then I can verify if it messes up..etc

The only reason I got it from EB Games is because I had a gift card from someone fro new years and I have no other games I could by. Im going to try entering the CD key in to steam and hopefully it works.

Oh ok, did you get a Key Code now? Or you going to try enter it once it releases when you probably get it?
