I've just decided to not even care anymore...so far all the shooting have been good, clean shooting. It's the medias fault and the dumb ignorant no good people (white, black etc.) who listen and complain over little things that they just don't understand, or cause they want to make a big deal for nothing.

The fact that there are protests over the shooting of an armed robbery suspect that aimed a loaded firearm at (and therefore intending to shoot) a police officer is abhorrent, disgusting, and ridiculous.  Kudos to the officer for a good shot, taking another criminal off of the streets, and coming out alive in such a hostile political climate.

Although you have a right to say what you will, In my humbled opinion, it is these type of responses that make police look bad. What should be said is Yes the guy had a gun and we are trained to neutralize the threat that may be harmful to us and the people altogether.  However my prayers go to the family who had to lose their son this way.  Very unfortunate tragedy  This is they way a real officer should respond. I wonder how you would feel if a fellow cop shot and killed your son and this is how he responded:

Army's got it easy. Everything is velcro. 

 

Air Force: Blousing straps, no velcro, all buttons, patches have to be sewn on, and no less than 3in of baggy material (Some commanders are laxed about that reg.). Mad respect for the army, but dem unis, brah 

 

Although take an MTI or any other instructor and I guarantee you'll scare the shit outta them.

Maybe people are tired of seeing white cop killing unarmed black men.......like in detroit, 6 white cops aim guns at a blackman with a knife, the cops are standing more than 20 feet from the blackman, obviously the blackman may have some mental issues because when he refuses to drop his knife (not threatening anyone with it), ALL 6 WHITE COPS shot him up, no one ran up on him with a stungun, bean bag gun, etc....but they shot and killed this blackman, pumped more than 40 rounds into him....Cops are professional, they can use choice of weapons, but why dont they use stun gun, mace against people without weapons? or someone with a knife? you cant shoot with a knife, but police have the greater advantage, but they choose to kill.....Now add up all the cases nation-wide from the 70's to now with White police officers treatment on black officers.....You dont hear that about Black police officers treatment on white men.  What about the white cop and the chokehold situation?  6-7 cops on top of this blackman showing no resistance, but screamed out that he couldnt breathe from the ground, and was killed.  this is why people are outraged.  but the more they continue this way police are painting an ugly picture of what it means to "serve and protect".   Just sayin.....

 

This is one reason why officers are having to pull their gun more often now. A 12 gauge shotgun dressed up as a Supersoaker. If you had tried to use a taser or mace against this, you would be dead.

It's a very unfortunate tragedy that your son had a weapon.

 

It's an unfortunate tragedy that he had to put it into an officer's face.

 

It's not like you have anything to do with the way your son behaved himself.

It's just an unfortunate tragedy that the way you educated him allowed him to have a gun and threaten people with it. 

 

So yes, my prayers (Sincerely!) go to you and your loss.

I really sorry about this, because it was an officer who had to kill your son and now it's the officer who has to live with another life taken by him.

 

It's bad when people die. But sometimes it's the only way to prevent other people from dying, and I'm more sorry that this kid's parents didn't tell him enough that you just can't break the law and you can't threaten people with gun.

+1 to what Hastings said.  It doesn't take a rocket scientist to comprehend that committing an armed robbery and attempting to shoot and potentially kill a responding police officer nets you exactly zero sympathy.  Is the loss of life a tragedy? Perhaps.  It clearly wasn't a problem to the perp that was willing to murder a police officer, however.

also im sorry you feel that way, let me call all the news stations and tell them to stop covering this because some kid on a website doesn't care anymore.. even though this incident Involves loss of Human Life in various parts of the country, Serious Negative Implications for Police officers around the Country, AND the Citizens in Ferguson who have to live and work in the middle of these riots.. im a bit offended by this ignorant post to be honest.. I Plead to you to gather some sort of Empathy for other people in the future

because im sure if you were in the middle of this mess you would want people to care about it too.. 

Its stupid about white shooting black. One this gets into the media it goes out of hands. Riots start; Just look at the first riot there. Heck if it WENT WAYYY Out of hand the national guard would be afraid to even step foot, I could see that happening now. WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO?????
