Did you change this value in the lspdfr.ini:

Ambient.DisablePlayerFlashlightOverride

Additionally, what mods do you have installed (if any)?

I checked for "Ambient.DisablePlayerFlashlightOverride ". I dont see that option.

Do you want like whats in my scripts folder?

Sorry forgot to quote you.

If you follow this path:

GTAV root folder --> lspdfr -> lspdfr.ini then open that up, you should see Ambient.DisablePlayerFlashlightOverride

And yes, tell me what you have in GTAV root folder --> plugins and also GTAV root folder --> plugins -->LSPDFR --> plugins

Ambient.DisablePlayerFlashlightOverride  is shown as off. I havent touched it. Also attached is a zip of thew photos of those locations

screenshots.zip

So Ambient.DisablePlayerFlashlightOverride = false correct? No typos? I only ask because I had a similar problem, and I found I accidentally put "falsee" instead of "false"

Have you edited the StopThePed.ini at all?

If none of the above applies, trying removing Back Weapon in your plugins

I have never even edited lspdfr.ini file, I have edited StopThePed.ini but that was like 6-7 months ago. I removed Back Weapon but same issue

StopThePed uses its own flashlight, so try and set Ambient.DisablePlayerFlashlightOverride in the lspdfr.ini to true

When you edited the StopThePed.ini did you edit anything related to

[RealisticWeaponSystem], which is found in the StopThePed.ini

Have you installed any weapon, weapon attachment, or weapon sounds mods?

Next, try to renaming your mods folder in your GTAV root to _mods and then see if the issue persists. This way we can more accurately pin down where the issue stems from

So apparently RealisticWeapon was turned off in game. Not sure why that effected it but its working when i turned it back on.
