Rockstar doesn't read every email they get. Plus, why would Sam email them? Just let them do what they're doing and hope for the best. They won't give a shit anyways, it would just be a waste of Sam's time. Just wait and see what happens.

I don't think so, we don't know if gta 5 will be moddable or not, so just wait.

i really think it wont be at this point i mean look at hiests now and everything else thats gone on i think rockstar will even be more against it.

Geez, not another GTA:V speculation topic.

Can we all just wait until V releases so we can see first-hand? There's multiple points from both sides in all the topics, now we just have to wait. :D

Rockstar isn't against modders.. they just don't support them. If they were against them then they wouldn't have posted articles about famous mods for GTA 4 in their newswire. There is thousands of games that have multiplayer but can still be modded.

Take Call Of Duty.. one of the most modded/hacked games around.. it has an online aspect to it.. but people still mod/hack it (which the hacks/mods only benefit in the multipalyer game). i doubt they'll disable modding/go to the effort to stop people from modding because they have GTA Online. IF people do mod for the GTA Online aspect then they'll be banned by moderators and admins from Rockstar.. plus most mods for GTA IV never affecting multiplayer at all. the only ones that can are script mods and trainers.

Plus people have already modded the console version of GTA V.. so the chances of the PC version being modified is quite high.

IF LCPD:FR comes to GTA 5 and IF it's going to be possible. I'll be sitting on the side of the highway rocking them CHP cars under the Californ-i-a sun!

I would think people would mod it anyways no matter what.

I think what they might do is check peoples game before you get online to make sure its not altered. So there is a chance with will need to duplicate your directory`s one for SP modding and one for Online.

In GTA SA you had to put new EXE file in before you could mod the game. Because of the hot coffee stuff. Im not 100% sure on the logistic of it.But then again the R* company and technology was way different.

Singleplayer will probably be moddable. Modders will probably find a way around it if Rockstar blocks them.

Online modding will not be available I don't think. They'll probably have a system that will check if your game files are altered, just what element2586 said.

Rockstar hasn't made any versions of GTA moddable since SA. They will not make V moddable. However, that doesn't mean modders won't mod it. IV wasn't modded because Rockstar said "Here, you can mod this game," it was modded because modders replaced various files to make the game do things very differently from what it was designed to do. Credit for modding GTA IV goes entirely to modders; Rockstar gets negative credit (for adding features to try to prevent modding), with the one good thing they've done related to modding being not suing modders.
