You know, it really doesn't matter whether the citations are officially called bribes, since the actual money from the citation, when it is given, goes into our own bank accounts. :turned:

On that note, would it be possible to have a kind of community-wide LCPDFR budget? For example, the budget starts out at $100,000. Only registered members who have connected their crime statistics would contribute. When calling in backup, a certain amount of money would be taken away ($100 regular backup, $500 NOOSE, $1000 Helicopter/ASU). Money could be earned by citations ($40,60,100), successful callouts ($400), or arrests ($50 ea.). Having an "accident" would lose $500, and having an "officer killed" would lose $1000.

The benefits of this would be a more tightly-strung community, and a feeling in LCPDFR that you are actually part of a larger group, and not just your own crusader. The drawbacks would be that people could manipulate the system, positively or negatively, and various other complications, such as trainers, could distort things, although I believe these issues are also present in Crime Statistics, and are being dealt with accordingly.

Although this idea may be focused more on the integration between the mod and the site, I think it would be something to consider to make the community more active. Things such as goals could be set in place to encourage more activity, and keep people coming back for more. This idea is just something that came to my head while reading through, but I think it could be taken tinto consideration, especially since its a more site-oriented suggestion than a mod suggestion.

Maybe the move of servers would make this idea feasible.

If you watch the live feed of crime stats, you'll see that some users just spam back up when in a chase.

I don't find it realistic, hell, I rarely call for back up in a chase now because I know I'll eventually pass a patrol car that'll join in

I agree with you, and my backup calls is when my computer was messed up and I was getting angry XD so I called in a bunch of cops and blew em up.. but I usually have no back up and I take them out within 2-3 minutes, sooner depending on if they are a danger

I think we can implement the following call out

such as

Robbery

snatch thief

vehicle theft

rioting

fighting

prostitue

manhunt - - searching for the suspect that is wanted

operation - to conduct anti drugs , anti prostitue , anti theft raids / anti crime patrol

murder case - where you need to be at the crime scene .

VIP or prisoner escort

suspicious article

and for the police partner system

i think we can choose to whether we need 1 or 2 partner . instead of 1 partnersn the games.

more realistic arrest -#%^^# ^ as i have say previously .

LCPDFR computer , can we make exactly like the one in gta 4 game such as we can view most wanted and current case or search police database for photo of the suspect . i hope you all can understand what i mean

More police radio/scanner

such as in gta 4 game , there is

attention to all unit , suspect is under custody .

this is control , suspect have been neutralised /deceased

Example when you are chasing after a suspect , and the suspect run , we can shout word like POLICE , you have been surrounded , please surrender or we will use force

and do you think we can add this too

Be on the lookout call

You can already shout at the suspects by pressing the num lock 1, 4 or 7 keys, both in car and on foot.

and some add on. we should include roadblock. and we can become a dispatcher where

Road blocks are not possible, it wouldn't work in-game.

I've noticed in some SAPDFR videos that you can call in roadblocks and spike strips. While I'm no expert at modding, if its possible to script them in SAPDFR, what's stopping it from being in LCPDFR, besides roadblocks being non realistic?

No, the scripting language and game engine itself is very, very different.

GTA San Andreas uses CLEO script mods, whereas GTA:IV uses ASI script mods, LCPDFR has been rewritten into C# from the old VB code for 0.95.

The problem with road block is that it won't really work, sure, it could spawn a few cars to block the road, but the AI traffic would go crazy if that happens, it would be a mess.

Another problem is that a lot of us uses ELS vehicles, that means that the vehicles will have a lot of problems with de-spawning again, we had that issue in some of the tester builds of 0.95, where no ELS vehicle would de-spawn causing very frequent crashes.

i thought about something like this and maybe seeing what other officers are doing while you are playing the game and maybe be able to communicate to them via text on the computers like real officers do atleast around here they do anyway

I have a suggestions for callouts. I've listed the police radio soundboards and i have a next suggestions:

1. Gang Warfare

Create 2 rival gangs (5-10 persons in one gang) that attacks each other. Weapons: from melee to machine guns.

Place: Random

Objective: Arrest/Neutralize

2. Illegal Street Race

It's like a multiple pursuit. Participants: 3-6 sportcar drivers. They drive fast.

Place: Random

Objective: Arrest

3. Drunken Brawl

Create a two-three drunk guys that shout each other.

Place: Bars

Objective: Arrest

4. Terrorist Activity

Create a guy with explosive weapons that kills civilians.

Place: Random

Objective: Neutralize

5. Burning Victim

Create a burning victim and not too far from it a suspect with molotovs.

Place: Random

Objective: Arrest/Neutralize

6. Nightclub Disturbance (TBoGT)

Create random troubled situation (like drunk fighting near nightclub or attempting any guy to attack security).

Place: Maisonette 9, Hercules

Objective: Arrest/Neutralize

7. Attempt to Prison Transport hijack (TLaD)

Create a bus with prisoners and random driver that flees.

Place: Random

Objective: Arrest suspect, Get Prisonb Transport to Nearest PD/Alderney State Correctional

8. V.I.P. Assosination Attempt in Progress (TLaD)

Create a column including limo and some VIP suited guy there and car following it and protect from some driveby guys that attempting to kill VIP person.

Place: Random

Objective: Don't let VIP guy be taken down, Neutralize suspects.

And one gameplay suggestion: Is it possible to make a star wanted level? Like one-two-three stars is default - some random units join to pursuit/callout, four-five-six stars - between units may be spawned FIB or NOoSE teams and also join to pursuit/callout. Or use an original GTA IV system (although making GTA IV system is bad because there all features need to be rewritten)

Edited by mcsim2401

A feature I want is goals for on duty today.

Ex

Write 5 Parkibg violations

Pull 6 People Over

Respond to 15 calls

Arrest 2 People

Also it would be could to add a breath test to either arrest or give a citation to them.

Random prank calls: You would have to arrive on scene before fing out if it was real or a prank.

Serving warrants with NOOSE. Get assigned to do a warrant with swat.

Love the callout ideas, though I think the drunks ought to be random and not just around bars, is it possible to make one of them get in a car?

Thinking though that the gang warfare would be more NOoSE's area.

How about expanding on a few of the existing ones, maybe in the domestic call the suspect doesn't always give up when you point a gun at them, some males like that are full of adrenalin and bravado and figure they can take a cop, or may want to be killed by a cop.

Or, for the armed suspects, more than one car.

For the star suggestion I doubt that'd be added in honestly,

Is OC spray possible? It would be nice to walk into a crowd of people and spray it lol

Perhaps, it would be quite difficult though. Maybe something we'll consider if we get the time to look into it.
