I'm a true gearhead and I'm pumped for all racing games when I see the trailers. I just don't know why I lose interest in racing games so fast. Thus, despite being an automobile enthusiast, I prefer buying open world adventure games over the pure racing ones.

 

As for the game itself, forget about The Crew, Ubi has been churning out some amazing trailers for ALL its upcoming games lately. I'm just confused which one should I place on the top. But yeah, the trailer was exciting enough.

I can't wait! It was comeing out for 360 but then they canceld it but its back!

Yeah, I watched your videos on the beta, i signed up a week after it was announced but never got a key so im going to sign up for the PS4 beta if I can. Definetely getting this on PS4.

Yeah, I got WD, so hyped from trailers, then it, well it was fun through the story, and the hacking players was fun but its so boring, havent even touched it in 2 months. But I have seen Beta footage from a few of my favourite youtubers and it does look to be what I want, huge customization, huge open world (probably the biggest open world in a racing game, either this or fuel), and it has a story and loads of good content, also UPLAY rewards, while most people hate, I quite like, and the Viper SRT10 is one of them and I should have a few Uplay points spare from playing WD

Just applied for the PS4 beta! 

Don't usually buy these sorta games, but this does look pretty good. +

I've found three things Ubi are good at when making games

 

1. Making a world that feels alive

2. Creating a proper story

3. Voice Acting

 

All most every Ubisoft game I have played has these 3 things.

You play as someone working for the FBI to take down a gang by infiltrating their ranks, and also to get revenge for them killing someone (I forget who, your brother maybe?). It's actually similar to the show White Collar because the FBI take you out of prison to work for them.

I hope its nothing like Rivals then. Most modern racing Need For Speed games (since The Run) are having a pathetic and poor excuse for a story. A narrator speaking in the background during the cutscene and then race, race, race. Whats the point of inserting a storyline when all you're gonna do is race pointlessly all across the map?

Yeah, no. Can't drive police cars cuz of the stupid devs and all the liveries look horrible anyway.

Yeah, Ubi are always great at making an interesting story, EA ****** it all up since Criterion took over. The only game with a decent story since then is The Run

Exactly why I'm not interested. Hmm, what other game did something like that? Oh yeah, Need for Speed. Point was about being a racer, yet they let you drive squad cars too. Oops!

But there's only a few cities and they're not even CLOSE to the original. Black and white + white and blue police cars totally roam the streets of New York. Pinnacle of the next generation for sure! Oh yeah.

I was able to change the states on the plate on my 300 in the Closed Beta, so yeah, its possible :p

No one knows yet, as the beta was very limited, they could add that though
