Hey guys, I just decided to make the thread of the world cup, even though it's almost done. Here we can discuss about the world cup. Personally my favourite team is Argentina. If anybody has any questions I would happy to answer them.

Really I should support my home team but since they suck and got knocked out I'm vouching for whoever wins. 

Oh I know atleast one member of these forums who can't stop watching.

I wouldn't say I don't give a crap because I slightly do, but I'm still not bothered enough to actually watch. I'll just listen to what's going on outside. People screaming yes = we scored, people screaming offensive stuff = they scored. All I need to know.

Germany all the way! They totally deserve the title after 3rd place in South Africa 2010, 3rd Place in Germany 2006 and 2nd place in the 2008 European Championships in Austria and Switzerland and 3rd place in the 2012 European Championships in Poland and the Ukraine.

 

I really hope they get the job done this time.

 

And as an Austrian I'll probably get beaten up for cheering for Germany - some sort of hate-love relationship between our countries :D

If only I could say I am backing Scotland all the way but there is just simply no hope in that ever happening lmao! 

 

This world cup has been the best that I have seen - so many surprises and amazing games. (Apart from the Bra v Col game, the Columbian team just simply cannot play cleanly - they looked like they were there to take out as many people as possible. Such a disjointed and disappointing game!)

Well, we're on to the next round, after what sounded like a lot of effort and near misses. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna try to find the guy that's lighting fireworks just outside my house and shove it where the sun doesn't shine.

I really wanted Belgium to win since Eden Hazard (Nr 10) plays for them and yes I do love him, he's amazing (no homo). But, since Argentina knocked them out I'm hoping that either Germany or Holland/Netherlands wins.

 

Really great games lately, Holland-Costa Rica was really nice to watch and let's not forget the Belgium-US match. Great game, eventhough Belgium was going to win it was just so fun to watch and such a close call with the US's last free kick. 

 

The semi-finals are going to be awesome to watch, Argentina-Holland & Germany-Brasil, great matchups

Brazil's World Cup is somewhat over with Neymar's world cup ending injury. Neymar plays a key role in the Brazilian team. Losing this key player is gonna hurt Brazil's chances. I could say Germany is gonna go through to the finals.
