  1. I literally just uninstalled 0.5, because with LCPDFR 1.0d, it kept crashing my game. Then I come here, and 0.6 is out. Thanks, man! It's an awesome mod. :)
  2. I understand that this model is over 2 years old, but I was wondering:

  4. Will do. Thanks! And by the way, your GTA IV Guide (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xNtUeusTJWibdlxmG8-G_m7w4FMqrQZxYbtjmm998eY/edit) is extremely helpful!
  5. Quick issue: Whenever I go to configure my LCPD:FR using the Diagnostics Tool, this error pops up (see attachment). I used to have the cracked Black_Box version, but then I went legit and bought the game on Steam. I have both GTA IV and EFLC (legit). #1: Why is it trying to install to the Black_Box directory? #2: Why is it trying to install to EFLC? I've tried manual install, same issue. It works if I check, "Advanced Mode", but it's annoying having to do that every time. It's a little issue, but if I could get a solution, that'd be great! If not, that's fine, too, just wondering.
  6. Ahh I love you man! Argentina all the way! Did you see Messi's stoppage time chip stopped by Courtois today? Still happy they won.
  7. I'm just going to follow the format to make this quick and easy. Description of Crash/Problem: I get the same loader.loader error like some others have gotten. What Version of LCPDFR: 1.0c (latest) - Manual install What Version of GTA IV/EFLC: 1.0.7.0, no EFLC What Extra Mods are Installed: Braveheart's Policing Script, vdH PoliceHelper, and a few others. I removed LCPD:FR, and they worked fine. Re-installed LCPD:FR, game crashes. Attached Error Logs (lcpdfr.log, AdvancedHook.log) One more issue I have is in the last two attachments. LCPD:FR is trying to install to an EFLC folder I don't have? I manually installed it to my GTA IV folder, but as the last attachment shows, it says I don't have an ASI loader, .NET ScriptHook, or C++ ScriptHook, and it's basically saying I don't even have LCPD:FR. I believe this may be the problem, but I don't know how to make LCPD:FR recognize the files in my GTA IV directory. Also, LCPD:FR v0.95RC2 worked great, so I have to reason to believe 1.0c shouldn't work. *EDIT* I've already done a fresh re-install of GTA IV, and it still doesn't work. As I type this, I'm doing another install. Thanks for any help, spdsky12
  8. Thanks guys. I found my CCleaner (Business) disc lying around. I uninstalled GTA IV, ran CCleaner, re-installed GTA IV, installed LCPD:FR and it worked! Thanks a lot for the help.
  9. Alright, thanks for the help. I'll see if that works.
  10. Alright I'll try doing that. Just one question. How do I un-install it from the registry..?
  11. I tried re-installing plenty of times. It still doesn't work. Yeah, GTA IV has been terrible in the case of modding so far. Some things have gone good, and some haven't. I still just need help...
  12. Right after I press Start/Enter, it brings up the menu with the R* Social Club pop-up, and I press start on that menu/main menu, it goes to the character slideshow with the music playing, then 2-4 seconds later, the music suddenly stops, and the slideshow keeps looping and never loads. Has anyone else encountered this problem? It's annoying me. I'm on my 4th fresh install and it still doesn't work. I installed a couple of skins/mods, some weapon skins, ELS, Indicators, IV DashCam V2, etc. and it worked (I didn't install LCPD:FR, but just tried out the previously stated mods). I have the 1.0.7.0 patch. I have only dsound.dll in there, and the .asi loader. (.Net ASI loader, also). I tried re-installing LCPD:FR, but it still doesn't work. No errors come up upon install. 13. Dear God, I'm such a forum failure. Alright, I'll go start a new topic.
  14. Sorry, I'm new to LCPD:FR and the website/forums. I was just kidding about the "AWESOME COMPUTER" part. Just Caps Lock to get attention :D Again, I'm new, but what I would suggest doing is re-installing GTA IV, and installing mods/skins/etc. one by one, and in-between, start up GTA IV and see if the error comes up. When/If it does, then you know what's causing the problem and you can ask for support on that.
  15. DAMNIT! SO MANY PROBLEMS ON MY AWESOME COMPUTER! Right after I press Start/Enter, it brings up the menu with the R* Social Club pop-up, and I press start on that menu/main menu, it goes to the character slideshow with the music playing, then 2-4 seconds later, the music suddenly stops, and the slideshow keeps looping and never loads. I have the 1.0.7.0 patch. I have only dsound.dll in there, and the .asi loader. (.Net ASI loader, also). I tried re-installing LCPD:FR, but it still doesn't work. No error's come up upon install and it's annoying the f*** out of me. It might just make me switch to PPM even though LCPD:FR is superior in every way. It's kind of like comparing Messi to Neymar (for those soccer/football fans). O.o UPDATE: I just ran found the Diagnostics Tool and launched it. This is what I got: BEGIN *SIGNED* LCPD First Response Issue Report Diagnostics Tool Version: 0.4.3 Operating system: Windows7 HomePremium (6.1.1.0 Build: 7601) Service Pack:Service Pack 1 System RAM (GB): 7.99 CPU cores: 8 NET Framework 4.0 installed: True Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable installed: True GTA IV - Installed: True GTA IV - Install folder: C:Program Files (x86)Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto IV GTA IV - Version: 1, 0, 7, 0 GTA IV - Asi loader installed: True GTA IV - Asi loader: XLiveLess GTA IV - Asi loader valid: True GTA IV - C++ ScriptHook installed: True GTA IV - C++ ScriptHook valid: True GTA IV - C++ ScriptHook version: 0, 5, 1, 0 GTA IV - ScriptHookDotNet installed: True GTA IV - ScriptHookDotNet valid: True ===============BEGIN .NET SCRIPTHOOK LOG=============== 2012-04-18 21:16:48 - Initializing ScriptHookDotNet v1.7.1.4 BETA (GTA IV version 1.0.7.0) ===============END .NET SCRIPTHOOK LOG=============== End of *SIGNED* LCPD First Response Issue Report Digital signature: LHxNxoaSDMb4yFtVLuK1gA==
  16. Ugghhh. I have the same exact problem... I have v1.0.7.0 GTA IV, and LCPD: FR v0.95RC2. I had a savegame, so I deleted it and tried again. I tried re-installing LCPD: FR to see if it would help and it still doesn't work. It stays stuck on "Starting a New Game". I'll see if it's a script I have or something. I'll keep you guys updated. UPDATE:I honestly have no clue what I did... I just went in my installation directory and started deleting things. I had dsound.dll and xlive.dll and I deleted xlive.dll and a couple of other scripts and it started to work.
