A zombie Apocalypse isn't going to happen. If anything were to wipe us out it'd be our own stupidity... oh and nukes, lots and lots of nukes.

  • Down here in Alabama, where I live, I'd say yeah. We could just run em' over with our trucks and shoot em with our guns ;)

If zombies eat brains, that means that Washington DC is the safest place!

Well yeah, But in the scenario that it did, Do you think you're area would survive?

I'm not into that stuff at all but to answer your question, no, probably not. I live in the outer suburbs of one of the most isolated places on the planet and guns and military installments are few and far between.

Well I suggest stealing a sailboat in a zombie apocolypse and living on the water lol

The ocean is roughly a 40 minute drive from my house and in the opposite direction there's the wheatbelt, but once you're past that there is nothing but desert for hundreds of miles. In saying that though, the isolation could be a good thing.

Maybe, I live in Nyköping, it's a medium-sized suburban city which is 104 kilometers (64 miles) from Stockholm.

There is almost no military activity in my town and the military would probably defend Stockholm the most.

lovkal

Around our city, there is the central national police, and a military airbase. I think they will just defend theirselves until they run out of ammo, and get INFECTED!!!!!!

Also there is a grammatical error on the title of your post...

Check "you're"

Eh.. i live in a dodgy neighbourhood, so the drugs or alcahol will kill them before the zombie apocalypse happens.

it's really not something i think about, because the chances of that happening is reeeealllllllly slim.

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me

Hmm, I doubt.

I live in a suburban area next to a large city, but basically no police or medical services here - only a fire station with volunteers. There really are no guns around, because of gun laws in Denmark. On the other hand though, this is a harbour city, so if shit got real we could escape.

As Gump said people here in Alabama would just solve the issue with lifted trucks and guns. There is a large Airforce base like 30 mins from me, and I live in a town of like 5,000 people. I'm pretty sure I would have a pretty good chance of survival.

Everyone in the south good until their 6MPG lifted trucks need refueling and their AR's need more ammo.

Once that happens will be the time to get out the popcorn and see who really survives. I am more for an ostrich approach:

Where I live we would definitely survive, because all zombie outbreaks seem to only happen in America :).

On a less movie drama note. I don't want my area to survive an outbreak. It's full of the most miserable people in the UK and that is an official statistic done via a consensus. The UK would probably benefit if my area was destroyed by zombies.

Brain eating zombies as depicted in films will never happen though. However "zombies" could actually happen. There is such a parasite that infects it's host and takes control causing the host to perform very strange actions. It's been exhibited in ants and other such insects/disgusting 8 legged creatures of death (I dislike spiders, have you noticed?)

I don't think that parasite has adapted to humans though, so yeah zombies are not a thing. Sorry.

A zombie Apocalypse isn't going to happen. If anything were to wipe us out it'd be our own stupidity... oh and nukes, lots and lots of nukes.

A disease that would make a human exhibit all the symptoms of a zombie is highly unlikely to come into existence, however, the likelihood of a massive breakout if one were to come into being, is extremely high, and mankind as a whole probably wouldn't survive barring small pockets of people in very remote locations with replenish-able food and water supplies. It's very easy to spread diseases, even from country to country and the only way to truly curb something like that would be to do what the Umbrella Corporation tried to do in one of the Resident Evil movies; quarantine the entire area of infected people, no exceptions, even to those who may be healthy in order to negate any risk, and nuke it. But as in movies, people can always slip through the cracks and I wouldn't doubt someone would end up ruining it by somehow escaping an thereby dooming humanity by carrying the theoretical virus with them...
