mr.luked posted a picture of the location of the cool police station in his post just above mine. the actual place is in the wards, the ghetto of chicago basically. the car in the pic, in my opnion, looked like it was based on the 90s caprice/ford crown vic it spawns at the pd station sometimes

I'm putting my pics in a spoiler because they're so big. It's pretty fun so far. I just hate Uplay so much. Also, my one complaint is the driving isn't that great. It's too wishy-washy, the breaks are terrible. Driving just feels too loose. 

 

I had a moment where I triedto sneak up and tail a guy in a car, but even the slightest pull of the trigger or click of my keyboard gets me into a full on burn-out. Overall, a solid 85/100, but I'm only 4 hours in and I have MUCH more playing to do to come to a real conclusion.

DeputyLund actually showed me where the one is. At least, I think there's only one. It's in "The Wards" near where the train tracks are. I don't have a screenshot of it yet. Sorry :P

 

I wish there was an unmarked car. I'd love the sheeeeet out of that. I'd be a real vigilante.

I agree, but I doubt it'll happen any time soon.  Ubisoft's games aren't exactly well known for their modding capabilities, especially not with the uPlay DRM.

Wow, this game is really beautiful. It really looks like Chicago during the autumn I have to say, also liked that "rural" picture, really reminds me of Illinois, and let alone Chicago. Might have to pick this game up

It is awesome getting a cop car and driving around responding to the random crimes.The only thing that kinda pisses me off is that when you get out of the cop car with you lights on they just turn off.

The Game is great but the driving is terrible. If I compare the driving it would be like a mix of Saints Row and Sleeping Dogs and a little bit of Driver:SF. The car damage is ridiculous. smacking head on into an oncoming car at full speed and and only getting a loose bumper while the other car is on fire killed it for me. Other than that the game is great, missions, side missions, online and everything else is fun. My favorite is the online, dont know why but I find it fun. I wish they added a full online feature to the game like a sandbox type of thing having other players play together and have fun instead of online hack each other missions.

 

If you could look past the driving then Its a fun game. Overall I give it a 8.5/10.

The gameplay is great but not amazing but yet again it just came out and most likely developers will have DLC content and stuff for later dates. Some minor patching here and there but nothing major.

Also dont compare this to the current GTA games. There is absolutely nothing to compare other than stealing cars,driving and shooting people.

Must be a PS4 and Xbox One exclusive because I have PS3 still and only have the tailing mission, hacking, some racing mission and a fixer vs helicopter race type mission that I forgot the name of. but no free roam online.

This game is really good, I really like it. The map is awesome, especially all of those back alleys and the "hot" districts with all the gangs, etc. These parts of the map are just a beast for police work (even though the entire map is really well made).

Now as some of you said, unmarked car would have been a nice addition, but hopefully the game will be moddable so we can replace the car models. As for a proper police mod for watch dogs, I must agree it would be a nice addition, but even without a proper police mod, it's still possible to play as a police officer (the "crime detection", "gang hideout" side missions can do the trick, plus there are the random shoot out / shots fired, traffic collisions, etc.).

The only problems I've experienced so far are:

• The Crash To Desktop: but playing with windowed mod fixed this issue.
• The random lags: a lot of people with excellent pc specs have been complaining about this issue, some said reducing some of the parameters to medium and set the others on high fixed this issue, but it do not works for everyone (if someone have a tip: feel free to share it).
• The brakes / driving: again, everyone is complaining about it, brakes / driving are horrible ... however: SUV, trucks, vans are easier to drive and more realistic in my opinion, but driving with the first person view helps a lot.
