Being a foreign intelligence agency, the NSA has more legal power to spy on stuff in Germany than they do in the US. Their actual *job* is "spy on communications outside the US".

If you're worried about being spied on, why not try search engines such as DuckDuckGo, and use TOR as your primary browser?

 

EDIT: I'm not saying these eliminate all spying but as far as I'm aware, it significantly reduces the amount of information they are able to receive.

If you have any liable sources that prove your points, Obama stating he hates weapons and his criminal record, then by all means please show them to me. It's not really illegal since the internet is a public place, So it's not really illegal for people to view what you're doing.

 

It's like having CCTV in a grocery store and security is watching you on a monitor in a back room.. You're in a public place so people can watch you.

 

Also if you run your data through a blind proxy, there is no way to trace the source.  That skull fuks the NSA and their data harvesting schemes.

Except that doesn't solve the backdoors installed in all Windows Software made since 1999.

Seriously, its not a "Police State" I don't like Obama, but I fully support law enforcement in this country, I don't respect the man in the office but I respect the office itself that he holds. I don't agree or like many of his choices but, I really cant change it. There's many different views and any person can freely have there own. Its what makes the US great. If you cant understand that I suggest you shut it. This country was founded on us all having our own beliefs, he cant take our weapons and firearms away(Its the 2nd Amendment after all) So accept this country for what it is, support the office just not when your man is in there, respect the country and all that have died throughout the world protecting our views and beliefs, cause there is a lot of them and we all have that right(1st Amendment), And arguing in a thread like this isnt going to change anyones beliefs...

Personally I really don't care if anyone's looking over us. The NSA has nothing to gain from spying, and I doubt they'd care much about we do, or take action against what we do. They're just watching, nothing else (as far as I'm aware). IMO, the less we know the better.

 

That's what I'm telling people. Yeah the mere principle is upsetting. "We are Americans! We have rights!" US citizens should realize our constitution applies only when we want it to. But honestly, I don't care if they have my "whole life" on file. I'm not doing anything wrong, and have nothing to worry about. They don't care about a twenty year old, going to college, with a clean record. Hell, i bet you could admit to rape in a text, and the NSA probably wouldn't bat an eye at it. I'll probably be put on some kind of a list for saying that...

On a side note, this is one weird topic, so i'll just add that I am eating a pepperoni & mushroom pizza with bacon & extra cheese not at all related to the  topic at hand and making the NSA hungry :)

When I read the title, I was first thinking you were asking if there were National Security Agency skins for GTA IV lol. As far as the N.S.A. spying on the LCPD:FR website, they indeed may. Primarily and probably only to look out for people whom they believe might try to impersonate police officers. But I doubt they really care as the vast majority of people on here are simply police fans and enthusiasts that support law enforcement which if anything, would be something the N.S.A. would appreciate. As far as spying on you in the actual game, I'm not exactly sure how they would even go about doing that (check your crime statistics? lol). From my knowledge of the government as an American citizen, I believe the N.S.A. is only concerned with monitoring individuals that may have links to an extremist group, such as Al Qaeda.  

 

I think the NSA has better things to do than catch people trying to impersonate police officers on the internet ;P

All the NSA would see from me is watching NB on YouTube, here, and some other stuff. In all honesty, if the government were to try and take our guns, there would probably be some sort of scuffle over it. Again, I highly doubt they would because of the amount of 2nd Amendment supporters in government itself. But, I'm not going to get into it.
